GREAT song! I'm a big Nevermore/Sanctuary/Warrel Dane fan too. Still eagerly awaiting the new Sanctuary album with Joseph Michael on vocals. That dude is Warrel 2.0 and a incredibly human and buddy of mine. I hope he winds up with Jeff and Van doing Nevermore too. He nailed all of Warrel's stuff on the Sanctuary tour while still making it his own. Do you like Witherfall by chance?
Wow,the guitar and drums in this one were epic. Just a chugging song with great vocals and a very balanced mix. The lyrics here were good as well. It's a powerful song overall.
so good to hear and see Nevermore making a buzz in the metal community again. I greatly miss their sound but cherish the art and poetry they left us with. As dedicated Nevermore fans, we all have our hopes and fears regarding the new chapter that is about to be written. Todd Michael Hall is a great singer and is the perfect fit for RIOT V, but not for Nevermore (rumors). Joseph Michael or Crimson Glory's new dood would be solid auditions. who knows? exciting times....
The first time I heard of Nevermore was when the wrestler Raven would wear a shirt with the self-titled artwork in WCW. Somebody mentioned them on the Megadeth forums in '99 when Dreaming Neon Black came out, and I picked it up immediately. Hooked ever since. Yes, I'm showing my age there. lol
Tommy - you should do a reaction to Sanctuary - Future Tense as it's essentially Part 1 of this two partner with The Final Product. Eerie how relevant both songs are today. R.I.P. Warrel. His voice was once of a kind, as were his lyrics. Love Nevermore and very excited to see what Jeff and Van do on 2025 with this new Nevermore venture (hopefully with Joseph Michael behind the mic). You really need to read the lyrics to Future Tense too ;)
I saw this news the other day and I got super excited, but then I immediately wondered who they were going to pick to replace Warrel Dane. It's both exciting and sad, but I'm sure whoever they choose they will knock it out of the park! This Godless Endeavor is probably still my favorite Nevermore album, but I also listen to Enemies of Reality a lot as well! 🤘🤘
I was wondering what Loomis would do with leaving AE, I missed this news. Not sure it will be the same without Warrel, but willing to give it a shot for sure, they got me through some tough times. Always be a regret I never got to meet them at this point.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Same, even though I'm a fan of AE (and each member independently), I felt like he was wasted talent there. I sometimes feel the same about Alissa, but she does enough collabs that I still get to hear new stuff with her cleans.
Huge Nevermore fanboy here.
What a band.
First song that got me into them was Dreaming Neon Black.

Ohhhh I need to hear all the albums!
Sentient 6 easily is my favorite nevermore song. I miss this band so much, i saw them with megadeth at gigantour in 2005 it was an amazing show.
Fav for me as well, after thinking for years they'd never put out anything better than anything off of Neon; S6? Perfection.

Hahaha Hell ya! I love hearing how we first get into bands!
Phenomenal song and this whole album is amazing. Great musicianship and really deep lyrics on this song.
So true!
This Godless Endeavor / Sentient 6. Love the other stuff, too, but that's the one that sticks with me the most.
Hell ya!
Favourite Album? Dreaming Neon Black. So special.

I'm hoping to hell Joseph Michael of Witherfall and Sanctuary. Guys sooo good and the perfect successor to Warrel.
@@jeffbudd7678 That would be amazing!
