Thanks for posting your videos. I was a couple of sections back and the technical issues with videos prevented us from being able to see Billy, but we heard him!

Sickening to see this. He had the same band for 30 years and then just fired them all with nothing more than a goodbye and shown the door. Seeing him play that guitar or faking it and seeing another band on his stage is fucked up. Signed.....30 year road musician.

Billy has always played guitar on this one and has had largely the same band for 30 years (with the exception of Liberty DeVitto).

@@gentryallen he left liberty on the curb. And the writer of the guitar hook....who played it on the recording was not Billy Joel. What was his name....everyone should know the name. Sadly another guy getting no bucks no credit.

Billy literally made the lives of those guys, turning down George Martin to work with them. He allows them to play their songs and tour with them.
I don't see the problem with him looking for new people to play and have a different sound for Storm Front.
Plus, He leave David Brown and Liberty in that album, and brought in new talent like Tommy and Cristal, and they have stayed with him ever since. Did he leave them on the street? The boys literally became respected studio musicians because Billy took them in. So I don't buy this idea that Billy is a monster.
And about Liberty, meh, I think he was exaggerating too much, not to mention that he always contradicts himself when he talks about being put down, and he's been putting down Billy's current drummer Chuck Burgi too much.

What do you expect him to do? The costs get too high you gotta do what you gotta do. You love capitalism? This is part of it. Those musicians should’ve saved up for a rainy day. Im a musician as well… it is what it is.
