Just HOW BAD Was This CRAZY 2022 NFL MOCK Draft? (3 Years Later)

- A few days ago, I stumbled upon an old 2022 mock draft and today, I want to look at that old mock draft and compare it to how things turned out. We will talk about why the players got hyped, their projected landing spot and where they are now, enjoy!
What topic should I do for my next video?
It might be kind of lame but I’m curious who the best back up QBs in the NFL are (stats wise I guess). My guess would be Jake Browning or possibly Gardner Minshew, but it’s probably pretty subjective because some guys might be pretty good but never play. Anyway, just a thought.
I think a video on any FCS/D2/D3 players that made it to the NFL and got real playing time on a roster would be cool. I know it happens but you don't hear about it a ton, especially the D2/D3 guys.
Best late round picks (4-7) of the past 10 years.
yo just a reminder desmond ridder went to saint X but thats in louisville not in cincinatti
#10 Great prediction
9. Not a bad prediction
8. Not a bad prediction
7. What...
6. Great Prediction
5. Solid prediction was still first round selection
4. Still 2nd rounder ; we shouldnt count mock drafts to what they did in the league. Theyre there to see what teams might do
3. Great Prediction
2. Great Prediction
1. Yeah a lot of mocks had him going #1 overall as QB premium
'all the way back to 2021' 💀💀💀
Bro in a few months that will be 4 years ago lol
@@alexbarcelo5094feels like only a year ngl

When we’re talking about phone camera rolls thats a long time
I love seeing how draft pics play out years later, we always need a few years to truly be able to grade a draft class
3 years is where I like to go back and see, give each player 3 seasons to show what they can develop into
@@romainvicta7392 that’s definitely fair
Desmond Ridder did NOT play for Saint Xavier in Cincinnati. He played for the same named school in Louisville. He was actually recruited by Zac Taylor (the OC then, Bengals current head coach).
Who cares Ridder is not an NFL quarterback unfortunately lol
I was about to comment the same thing
@@termight2607he literally said is. Imagine commenting that as a random bum on a TH-cam video
@@TheColerain11 okay internet bully 😤 calm down
Me saying unfortunately the guys not an NFL starting qb is deserving to you calling me a bum lol I love weak ppl like you they make me smile ☺️
Love these kinds of videos.
I do too. It shows how predictions in a volatile sport like football is near impossible to get right at a high rate. Hindsight is always crystal clear
Ok
It’s funny to see how little we know about the future
Malik Willis looked good for the Packers filling in for an injured Jordan Love. It shows you how important it is to go to the right team with the right coaching staff and the right teammates surrounding you.
Hutch was a huge riser and has continued rising..#GoBlue
DSJ did ball out last year for the Texans he had 5 INTs I believe. He’s for sure a #1 CB in the NFL with shutdown ability as long as he can stay healthy.
Mock drafts are just to get people talking and this one did, I enjoyed your video talking about it.
Where is the mock draft from? Who made it? How early was the draft made before the draft? Some info that would make the video a little more engaging
Do this series for the last 5 drafts from 2022 thought 2017
great video but quick correct for Ridder. Yes in cincinnati we have a St. Xavier (Luke Kuechly’s HS). Ridder isn’t from Cincinnati he is from Louisville.
Love the video but when talking about sting you gotta mention his 6 ints. That’s more than everyone taken in the first round combined. And Ik sauce is clamps and all but gotta talk about his picks
That is hilarious! Good unique concept. I haven't seen it anywhere else. Keep it going. MIZ

Malik Willis being a bust is hilarious. I remember some people coming out of the draft were saying he was already better than Baker Mayfield, lol.
Tbf he was never given a single chance
@@TheGambler2003 He was trash in practice
You should do the 2021 covid draft first round and where are they now.
Not bad
Correction on St. X with Ridder. There is one in Louisville Kentucky and one in Cincinnati Ohio. To me this is very obvious bc St X Bombers of Cincinnati are blue and white and the Louisville St X is green and yellow. These schools have played each other in the past
As a titans fan i was hyped for malik willis since everyone had him going in the 1st round or even being the #1 pick. Boy was the 3rd round generous 🤣🤣
When the Lions picked Hutchinson I was so happy I scared my dog with my WOOOOO! 😂
For the record, I just wanna say that I *Always* thought Any talk about Malik to Detroit in the 1st was the most ridiculous pick I've Ever heard, real or mock. And I know about the Packers selecting Tony Mandarich at #2, allowing the Lions to select Barry Sanders at #3.
Imagine Favre AND Barry in GB throughout the 90's And 2000's because Barry doesn't retire so young if he's winning...👀 👀
As a Titans fan I can confidently say Malik Willis is the worst QB I’ve ever seen step on a NFL field
Idk he’s still not as bad as Nathan Peterman
@@Oregonman2011Peterman could at least throw a forward pass
Willis is worse
@@caleykruse9852 even before willis won that packers game the disrespect to call him worse than Nathan Peterman is crazy...Peterman is tiers below Willis give me a retired Big Ben over Peterman
This is an interesting video. I would like to see a few more like this. Might be kind of difficult but it would be interesting (to me) to see how wrong Mel Kiper has been over the years. That’s a deep dive I know, lol. This was a pretty good idea.
Great vid. Love this topic.
Error on Desmond Ridder. He went to Saint Xavier in Louisville not Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Saint X wear a white and blue color way.
This is a good format
That's St X in Louisville I believe.
My mock draft that year was a big bust. I had myself going first overall and I didn't even get drafted.
I feel bad for Willis. Never got a REAL shot as a starter, and the Titans even drafted Will Levis for when Tanehill left
He had several chances to show he could play and he didn't.
@@LittleBenjaminNeocon183 I mean did the Titans ever really invest real effort into him? He was a QB that needed development. I don’t know how he was at practice, behind the scenes, or whatever, but he sat behind Tanehill for a season just for them to draft Levis the very next year. Obviously Levis was probably the better QB, but Willis is still young and could’ve benefited from sitting behind a vet like Tanehill. No shade, but a QB like Sam Howell played an entire season!
@@ItSaBeastNerdsam howell is 10x the QB malik willis is. Howell had the worst oline, worst runningbacks, no WRs, and a struggling coach. And he still was slinging touchdowns. In the games malik willis played he played the worst by an NFL qb in history. And he had derrick henry and deandre hopkins those couple games
You got Riddrr goingbyo the wrong St Xavier. He went to the one in Louisville not Cincy.
#7 falling to day 3 sounds like my mock.
Ridder went to Saint x in Louisville KY. Common mistake
Ritter went to ST. X in Louisville
Bro how you gon talk about Willis like that when he’s still like 23
He's about to get cut lil bro
He's terrible
Sam Howell I think is a decent qb would have less int if he wasn’t ask to sling the ball with 60 pass att
9:48 George Karlaftis is an edge rusher/defensive end not an IDL. They play him inside sometimes but he is booty cheeks in the interior that's why he's now an edge rusher cause he is way more productive on the edge.
6:50 he’s is actually going to start a few games for New Orleans since Derek Carr got hurt
It did predict Howell going to the Seahawks,, just a couple years early
Malik Willis is NOT get the Patrick Mahomes treatment or whatever lmao that’s one of the wildest and objectively false narratives I’ve ever heard lmao
27 picks in high school is unbelievable 😂
Desmond Ridder did not go to St. Xavier in Cincy. He went to the one in Louisville. And its pronounced zavier. Not x-avier
Has no one noticed that this outlet had the bengals getting the 5th overall pick the same year they made it to the super bowl?
Rating national medias way too early mock drafts from x year
Ridder went to Louisville St.X not Cincinnati.
Rattler is a pretty cool last name. 🐍
High School was a great 8 years for Sam Howell it looks
12:13 Evan Neal has been baaaad bro especially in pass pro. Even when fully healthy the tape was horrendous that's why they want him to be put at guard so he can have assistance in pass pro from the centre instead of being on an island cause he is terrible at pass pro his footwork seems to be the main problem as it is essentiaal to pass pro. He was the main problem for the Giants last year. That's why he's now unde the microscope cause you actually notice how bad he is when you watch them
desmond ridder went to st x in louisville ky not cincy
I don’t think Karlaftis is an “Interior Linemen” 😂
Malik Willis legacy game happened btw
I remember genuinely lol when they took Travon walker the entire offseason was Hutchinson he was the concensus 1 then week of the draft Kayvon Thibodaux out of no where was being rumored to go 1 now randomly and then pick is in and fucking Travon walker
I actually didn’t think Sam Howell was that bad at Washington he had a bad offensive line and no run game
Someone made a ‘22 mock draft without Hutchinson in the top 10?
thats a good point, crazy
@@ScottFisherCFB Yeah, no kidding. Though, it looks like this was an EARLY mock draft. As in, made shortly after the regular season ended in college. The reason I say that? The mock draft had the Lions drafting first, but the Lions ended up winning a few games down the stretch and ended up drafting second instead. Hutch had a good year that year, but it was the College Football Playoff that showed him as “can’t miss.” And the Lions ended up being happy with Goff’s year-end turnaround.
Wrong high school for Desmond ridder
That is not the st x in Cincinnati it’s saint x Louisville
The island of “Crate”???
Yes!!!!
Not a bad mock draft considering that the person didn't have hindsight
8:13 A borderline top 10 corner???? Underwhelming? 😭 He's a corner so obviously it's not that obvious for people that don't regularly watch the NFL to see how good he is. But there are some film breakdowns on from Jackson Krueger and Ryan Clark. Actually nah gtfoh he had 5 picks in 11 games bro 😭😭😭 Idk if that's considered impressive in college but in the NFL that is super impressive cause he is Houston's undisputed #1 corner rn he always covers the best receivers on the other team. Man you totally caught me offguard with that comment 😂 done made me forget that you're a CFB channel
Yeah don’t think he watches football like that. Probably JUST a content creator
The Plandemic messed up the development of these players.
I hate being the douche but Ridder went to St. Xavier in Louisville not in Cincinnati
Came here to make this comment lol
@@A13Xelder I knew it wasn't St. X Cincinnati colors being from SW Ohio lol
Sometimes i rely on my own knowledge too much, I will need to clarify that smh :(
@@ScottFisherCFBit’s okay man. Better to mess up something minor like that and learn from it than something major and be screwed. Keep up the good content
Go Bearcats ⚫️🔴
derek stingley underwhelming? what are you smoking
malik willis never got a proper chance and was always a developmental guy and they acted like he was pro ready
Bro Willis is 23 how you gon talk like that
25
Malik Willis is phenomenal he just will never get a fair chance
If he was phenomenal he'd have won the job. The only thing he's good at is getting sacked.
Malik Willis really got drafted because of his skin color lol wild wild wild
Hi
My sister in law went to high school with Sam Howell and she told me that he had a very small 🍤
