You are SOOOOO right about RG3. Glad I'm not the only one saying that. Mike Shanahan RUINED Griffin by playing him on an injured knee THREE times late in his rookie season. And then, TWICE more in a playoff game against the Seahawks when he led the 'Skins to a 14-0 lead. I will NEVER forgive him for that! He ruined Griffin's career for the sake of ONE playoff win. Which he didn't get. Seattle won the game, so it was all for nothing and RG3 was chattle on the side of the road. DISGRACEFUL!!!! And you KNOW Shanahan wanted Kirk Cousins all along anyway. Kirk's okaaay, but he couldn't hold a candle to RG3 when the latter was healthy.
Baker wasn’t a bust. You can’t blame the guy all the different head coaches all the offensive coordinators that changed that changed under him at Cleveland. It was actually a travesty for him. Now that he the same head coach and offensive coordinator he’s really fantastic.
Hell, Baker was looking fantastic in Cleveland until they ran him into the ground. I think we can't count anyone's career with the Panthers as a knock against them either.
RG3 is not a bust!!!! Shit take, total click bait. Know your NFL history, his injury was horribly mismanaged by a deranged owner who told the DR to tell RG3 his tear was not a tear and that he could keep playing. So he kept playing, because he's a warrior. Then his partial tear became a complete tear when his foot got caught in the bad grass at FedEx field. He won rookie of the year, finished second in MVP voting to Tom Brady. Please explain to me how he was a bust again?!? Ryan leaf, Johnny Manziel, Jamarcus Russell, those are all certified busts.
In a 5 year period the Browns took not one, not two but THREE QBs with major red flags: Brandon Weeden, Johnny Manziel and DeShone Kizer Weeden: 28 years old with no upside Manziel: Immature frat boy Kizer: So unpolished even his coach (who was vilified for saying it) said he wasn’t ready. They then get it (somewhat) right with Baker Mayfield who wins them their first playoff game in 25+ years, then proceed to thank him by jettisoning him for the NFL’s version of Bill Cosby and gave him $230 guaranteed. You can’t make this shit up.
Browns have never produced a great QB since the early 90s if you can call Bernie Kosar that.... So obviously anyone they sign will be a bust present company included..... And the Bears have Never had a great QB. period....
RGIII is definitely NOT a bust, come on man! The standard definition of a BUST is someone who had the chance to prove their worth but didn’t. RGIII proved his worth by winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and making the Pro Bowl, but got injured in a meaningless preseason game in 2015. He is NOT a Bust and definitely not a Bust with an asterisk.
Manziel was the most interesting person for the wrong reasons. He was like Urban Meyer at the time. You knew he was going to do something. You just didn't know what it was or how bad it was going to be.
The fact that the Cardinals traded *up* to get Rosen pisses me off to this day. I wanted Lamar Jackson who the Cards could have gotten easily at 15. Then in 2019, if things still shook out the way they did, took Nick Bosa. I can't imagine the Cards with Bosa and Chandler Jones on the same defense.
I really wish Johnny Manziel wasn't a bust. I've been an A&M fan for nearly 40 years, and I loved watching and hearing him play in COLLEGE. He just quickly went off the deep end when he got to the NFL. His head just got too big for his shoulders. He started BELIEVING HIS OWN HYPE, and it was downhill after that. I even remember my parents got me a t-shirt with his name and number from the Browns on it.
You clearly don't watch football saying that RG3 was a bust??? Man you non sports fans are annoying. Your just doing this for money YOU DON"TWATCH FOOTBALL
RG3 wasn't a bust at all, he hurt his knee against dallas and shannahan kept him in the game, where his knee got messed up worse. When he played and was healthy he was actually really good
... then there are those players who people usually consider busts, yet keep surviving, usually flying roster to roset - take Takk McKinley, for example... Drafted #26 in 2017, the guy never lived up to his 1st round billing wherever he went (20 sacks in 66 games), yet he's always managed to cling on to an NFL roster to this day...
The only real bright point for Mitch Trubisky was how he was able to shred the Matt Patricia Detroit Lions. Dude had a nearly 70% completion, 12/1 TD/INT, averaged over 270 per game, and had a passer rating of 124.4. The Bears won all four. Felt like it kept his career alive there for a bit. So yeah, his highlight was beating on a legendary atrocious defense for 3 years.
Rg3 had maybe the best rookie season of any qb to this day,he was no Bust, injury just destroyed him while others qb on this list were bad from a day ONE.
If people are going to say RG3 wasn’t a bust because of injury then Trent Richardson wasn’t a bust either. He was the best running back in the country at Alabama and should have won the heisman. He had nearly 1000 yards in his rookie season at the browns behind a horrible o-line. And getting traded to the colts was a career death sentence it cut rush attempts more than in half because they’re not a big rushing offense and he was sharing carries.
You missed one nobody remembers. Golden, the CB the Steelers picked in the 2nd round in 2015. He was so injury prone, he played in 1 preseason gane during his 3 year career. That was it....
RG3 shouldn’t be on these lists. Washington ruined him and he was doing everything he could to win them games. In fact Cousins owes his entire career to RG3’s injury truthfully
Trubisky was fine until the bears tried making him a pocket passer. He was a good scrambler and threw much better on the move. Bust isn’t close for a lot of these guys. This list is brutal, it’s like you just asked AI to make a generic video for you.
Maybe the Browns and the Bears should just draft good defensive players and trade for QBs that are looking for a start. It’s obvious that they don’t have the capacity to develop Quarterbacks.
Even as a Seahawks fan, watching that RGIII games was pure pain. Why didn't they shut him down after that first knee injury? You can't risk a franchise QB for a single season's playoffs run.
I'm a ravens fan but the family was split between skins and ravens fans so i watched alot of rg3 and he actually gave them hope his rookie year. Unfortunately it was the ravens that derailed his career.
Johnny Manziel to be fair just wasn’t fully focused , and wasn’t dedicated to be a great player , if he focused more , more dedicated to being a elite qb than being famous he wouldvd been good
Josh Rosen is painful. Not because he wasn't a bust (he was), it's because he was dealt a REALLY crappy hand. He was on bad team after bad team and never got a chance on even a half decent team.

Always find it strange that Trubisky is considered a 'bust' when in his 4 seasons at Chicago, he racked up over 10,000 passing yards and over 70 Tds. Just because he didn't have the success of either Mahomes or Watson doesn't make him a 'bust'. A good but not elite QB. Like most of them, really.
I wouldn't consider Darnold is a bust, yet. He's still in the league and could potentially have a breakout year, and stay great. I belive you should wait till they are out of football entirety b4 labeling them as a bust
What stings even more for the Bears when they traded for Trubisky was just how much better the 49ers did with their assets. While Solomon Thomas (the pick that actually belonged to the Bears) was a bust, it was another pick in that haul that is the real kick in the family jewels. The 3rd round pick in the 2018 Draft ended up being 70th overall, and the Niners selected Fred Warner, who is the man in the middle of the 49ers linebacker corps. Rubbing more salt in the rounds, the 3rd round pick from 2017 was traded by the Niners to the Saints, and the Saints ended up selecting Alvin Kamara with it. Even though the Bears would have definitely botched Mahomes or Watson (let's just say the Bears lack the coaching staff needed to develop QBs) if they had gone there, can you imagine if instead of trading those picks, we would be seeing Alvin Kamara or Fred Warner in Bears colors instead? While it would not immediately turn the Bears into Super Bowl contenders overnight, it certainly would have given them a fighting chance for bragging rights against their NFC North rivals.
Mayfield was hurt and played through an injury: that’s on him. The organization allowed him to play through said injury: that’s on them The fanbase turned on him when OBJ started crying like a little bitch that he wasn’t getting the ball: that’s on them.

he has the same case as RG3, had a ton of potential but got injured and wasnt the same. Wentz played good in 2018 and 2019 until his horrible 2020 season happened. Someone isn't labelled a bust just because of 1 bad season, and plus he was a big reason why philly has a superbowl banner
Yeah, this guy knows nothing about football, by all means it looks like he gets his info from comment sections, Google, and Wikipedia. RG3 is the literal opposite of a bust. Bro RG3 messed up his knee and couldn’t run the same ,bro was like Lamar Jackson in his prime
RG3 at Baylor and Luck at Stanford was such a fun year of college ball to watch ....such a shame that injuries inevitably shortened 2 amazing careers
Paxton Lynch, Jake Locker, Christian Ponder, Blaine Gabbert and EJ Manuel were all significantly worst than Mitch Trubisky and RGIII. Jake Locker was perhaps the most talented of those but the most egregious draft mistake as the guy had barely any interest in playing football.
Justin Blackmon was a huge shame. Guy could have been huge.
Jake locker was more talented? Lmao
You don’t like black QBs lol
@@skywalker2759 Saying Jake Locker was more talented than Lynch, Ponder, Gabbert and Manuel means I don't like black QBs?
Huh?
The only QB among them that's black is Manuel. Who was agreed by almost everyone to have been an enormous stretch for the first round even at the time.
Locker was considered a slam dunk number 1 pick before his senior year. He fell hard, just wasn't that interested in football and retired early to become a pastor. The guy had the same frame and upside as Josh Allen, very similar prospects.
Oh man when u mention lynch I kept thinking HOW the Broncos be in qb hell ever since Peyton Manning retired like him and Drew Lock
And potentially Bo Nix 🤔
I guess Isiah Wilson (who was a bigger bust than at least half of the guys on the list) didn't make the list because he was drafted in 2020 (which, technically, was in the 2010's, but still...)?
RG3 was not s bust. Also, I'd rather have mitch on my team than Watson in 2024...
damn this browns documentary is wild
being able to complete passes at all and winning 2 nfl games with zero effort or film while also having an addiction is one of the most impressive things to do like yall know how hard professional football is the fact he even won a game at is crazyy
Trubisky got to the playoffs 2 times in 4 years. Just because he turned out to not be the best quarterback in the draft that means he's a bust
He got drafted because he was white
Be honest lol
That's what I'm saying. Mitch is no Hall of Famer but also no bust.
Darnold is looking pretty good this year. So far, anyway
You are SOOOOO right about RG3.
Glad I'm not the only one saying that. Mike Shanahan RUINED Griffin
by playing him on an injured knee THREE times late in his rookie season. Kirk's okaaay, but he couldn't hold a candle to RG3
when the latter was healthy.
RG3 wasn’t a bust. Still one of the best rookie seasons ever, maybe the best. His team destroyed his body. Just like the Dolphins are doing with Tua.
Darnold as a starter McCarthy be like 🤬
RG3 is not a bust!!!!
In a 5 year period the Browns took not one, not two but THREE QBs with major red flags: Brandon Weeden, Johnny Manziel and DeShone Kizer
Weeden: 28 years old with no upside
Manziel: Immature frat boy
Kizer: So unpolished even his coach (who was vilified for saying it) said he wasn’t ready.
And the Bears have Never had a great QB. period....
What about Sid luckman?
@@bradytom5468 wasn't he a top QB for the era.
@@bstove24 let's stick to the super bowl era, Not the ice age....
Bryce Young - “Hold my beer.”
Kevin White never had the opportunity to prove himself
Manziel was the most interesting person for the wrong reasons. He was like Urban Meyer at the time. You knew he was going to do something. You just didn't know what it was or how bad it was going to be.
The fact that the Cardinals traded *up* to get Rosen pisses me off to this day. I wanted Lamar Jackson who the Cards could have gotten easily at 15. Then in 2019, if things still shook out the way they did, took Nick Bosa. I can't imagine the Cards with Bosa and Chandler Jones on the same defense.
Calling Rg3 a bust is one of the most ridiculous football statements ever made.
Your just doing this for money
YOU DON"TWATCH FOOTBALL
@BLITZ i was shocked when i saw u only have 54.8k subs man u producing 2mil subs + content keep it up man
He has a second channel with a million subs @nonstop
None of the 2021 or 2022 QB busts isn’t crazy
2010s.
Read the title
It’s not even really about drafting Mitch above Mahomes it’s about trading up to 2nd overall for a QB most teams didn’t have a 1st round grade on
RG3 wasn't a bust at all, he hurt his knee against dallas and shannahan kept him in the game, where his knee got messed up worse.
0:15 yeah Trubisky wasn’t DeShaun Watson but given Watson’s history off the field, I’d count it as a win.
Rg3 had maybe the best rookie season of any qb to this day,he was no Bust, injury just destroyed him while others qb on this list were bad from a day ONE.
Haha,Justin Gilbert... you know that a player is BAD when the team is willing to trade him to a division rival :D
Only week 2 but, Sam has been getting coached well and looks solid in Minnesota! Maybe a career revival.
He still a bust he is average at best right now with the vikes
You missed one nobody remembers. Golden, the CB the Steelers picked in the 2nd round in 2015. He was so injury prone, he played in 1 preseason gane during his 3 year career. That was it....
Are you talking about Marcus Golden he was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals
Rg3 had a good year, that disqualifies him as a bust. All the other ones were busts EVERY year.
John Ross deserves another chance. He didn’t find it with us (Eagles), but he deserves a chance to be somewhere else
As a Jets fan what happened to Darnold was Adam freaking Gase
I'm a ravens fan but the family was split between skins and ravens fans so i watched alot of rg3 and he actually gave them hope his rookie year. Unfortunately it was the ravens that derailed his career.
RG3 wasn't a bust he showed he could play at a high level before Snyder & the Shanahan's criminal negligence ruined him. Go Hawks
The 2010s browns were truly generational
How can this list exist without Henry Ruggs III
Johnny Manziel to be fair just wasn’t fully focused , and wasn’t dedicated to be a great player , if he focused more , more dedicated to being a elite qb than being famous he wouldvd been good
Josh Rosen is painful. Not because he wasn't a bust (he was), it's because he was dealt a REALLY crappy hand. He was on bad team after bad team and never got a chance on even a half decent team.
good qb's make a bad team better. Rosen sucked
@@__DGNR8__he really wasn't a bad player, it was his "I'm better than you" attitude made him his own worst enemy, do you remember what he said on live TV after he was drafted? He would've made a good wrestler because his smug attitude was unbearable, but in his defense he had a defensive minded head coach and a 1st year OC, so either way his career was doomed
@@__DGNR8__yes and no most bad teams that draft talented young QB usually try and build a little around them and slowly build Rosen had no help anywhere no linemen no wr no te no defense
Calling RG3 a bust is diabolical. How about Sam Bradford?
Still can't believe my favorite team took John Ross over Patrick Mahomes, Marshon Lattimore, TJ Watt, Christian Macaffrey, Ryan Ramczyk... 🤦♂️
Love the video keep it up bro 😊
calling RGIII a bust is insane.
U sure about Sam Darnold now
What stings even more for the Bears when they traded for Trubisky was just how much better the 49ers did with their assets.
What's crazy was the 49ers didn't even want Trubisky. The Bears could probably have traded DOWN and still gotten Trubisky.
Jameis Winston is a bust.
RGIII. Poor bloke, god he was amazing before the injury
You can add Caleb Williams to the list of bears busts at QB
Personally. I’d rather be Mitch Trubisky than Deshaun Watson.
Both RG3 and Baker Mayfield are not busts. RG3's body broke down and Mayfield played for a cynical fanbase that didn't give him time to improve.
Mayfield was hurt and played through an injury: that’s on him.
The organization allowed him to play through said injury: that’s on them
The fanbase turned on him when OBJ started crying like a little bitch that he wasn’t getting the ball: that’s on them.
RG3 was unfortunate. If he was able to stay healthy and had good leadership he could have succeeded
Would be great if the term "bust" had a precise definition though - should it include those who "failed" because of injuries or inept coaching, or only those who had their chance to prove themsleves in the NFL, but turned out to be crap or immautre...
Let’s be real, Watson or mahomes probably wouldn’t turn out to be this good, well more Patrick than Deshaun
Kevin White is more of a bust than Mitch Trubisky
WR drafted 7th overall in 2015 and only had 285 Yards and no TDs in 3 years as a bear
Browns, Jets, Bears….bust-making factories lol
Trading up one spot makes no sense ever
If an injury happens to you then you can’t be a bust, a bust is someone who was expected to be something amazing and didn’t materialize because of ability’s not injury’s. This guy has very little idea what he is saying or doing while making this video. Boo this man.
How is Carson Wentz not on this list? He's a bust, five teams in the last five years. The guy is totally toxic in the locker room and no one wants him
he has the same case as RG3, had a ton of potential but got injured and wasnt the same. Wentz played good in 2018 and 2019 until his horrible 2020 season happened. Someone isn't labelled a bust just because of 1 bad season, and plus he was a big reason why philly has a superbowl banner
RG3 was not a bust. He got thrown in with a gimpy knee and it ruined his career.
Manziel was not a bust he was a future hit movie
RG3 is more of a "What If?" instead of a bust
Yeah, this guy knows nothing about football, by all means it looks like he gets his info from comment sections, Google, and Wikipedia.
RG3 is the literal opposite of a bust.
He won rookie of the year, 2nd in MVP to Tom Brady, career cut short due to injury. Please explain to me how that's a bust?
A bust would not have done well enough to win rookie of the year.
A bust could not accomplish that feat.
Hell Payton Manning, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees didn't even win rookie of the year.
RG3 had one of the best rookie seasons of all time.
You can never take that from him.
@@shaggyfrankdizzl I agree that they are other players more suited to be labeled as a bust compared to RG3. But I still think RG3 is a bust regardless of how amazing that 1st season was. Only having one spectacular season followed by mediocrity and inconsistency for the rest of his career is extremely disappointing for a number 2 pick. No one can take that szn away from him and injuries did screw him over, but there are valid arguments as to why he is a bust
@@Luke_2828 so you agree but you don't.

Why does everyone on the Internet contradict themselves?
I'm not asking, that's rhetorical.

I agreed in the sense that I think there are other players that are bigger busts than RG3 but i don’t completely agree with your full point because I still think RG3 was a bust. It might be a crazy concept, but people can agree with parts of your argument and disagree with other parts😱🤯
Being a Browns fan is like saying "I kinda/really want to unalive myself... but I want it to be impulsive"
