- UPDATE: Since the time that I made this video I have found that you CAN move the preview. Just touch it and drag it out of your way.
In this video I will show you how to download an image from the internet and upload it to Cricut Design Space on your iPad, and clean it up so you can use it as a cutting image.
After that, if you want to add colored layers to this image, you can follow the steps at video about using Duplicate and Contour here • Create Colored Layers ...

Actually if you can please do a video on where to find the images you save “as is” on the iPhone would be great I save everything and have no idea where to find them thank you so much

Trying to read the directions And having trouble as the words blend in with the background

Hi, I recently updated my iPad, and now I find the wand select tool is no longer working. I will tap a section to remove and the whole image disappears, occasionally the wand is also out of sync. Anyone else had these issues? Does anyone know how to fix this please? thanks. Before the update a couple days ago, it was working perfectly. Would appreciate help, thanks.
some people have had to delete the app from your device and reinstall it to get things to work correctly
When I create something in DS, save it to the cloud, start a new project and go to the cloud, I can not get the picture to go back on DS to use it again. I am using an iPad. Please help
When you save a project you should be able to go back to Projects and then filter to Your Projects to see the ones you have saved.
The tutorial works but when I send it to the machine to cut it, it doesn’t want to is there any solution for it?

You can move the preview window to another corner to clean up.
That is set by Cricut, so there is no way to move it.
On my iPad, I am able to move the preview window to another part of the screen when cleaning up an image. I just touch on it and slide the window to the opposite corner.

When I go to save my image it comes up with an error message. I’ve tried so many times and it doesn’t save.
what does the error message say?
Can someone help me!😩 I have an Ipad Air 2, I upload a picture from google and then I clean it. Once cleaned, I look at it and it’s awful! No matter how good the quality of the pictures is! The sides are all roughed up and not nice and staight lines!!! How do I make them look good HELP
I would use the SMOOTH option at the bottom of the screen when you do the clean up
@@TheShawnMosch yes but it becomes too bulky and the wipe space in letter becomme all black and its still nice and straight... so disappointed
Hi I might be being stupid but when I go to remove on the background it comes up as black not a checker board😭
When you click on the background it will probably change from the black to the checkerboard, or white.
It happened the same to me

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If that does not work, contact Cricut support.
Wouldn't all this be easier with the Apple Pencil?
It might be . . . but I don't have one so I was just using my finger
@@TheShawnMosch I tried it last night and for erasing and some other things it was easier but not for zooming.
@@kathypayne6148 yeah, zooming is more of a two finger motion so the pencil would not work good for that . . . but for picking things I can totally see the benefits!

So we don’t hVe to pay to use these images right? Why would anyone pay for the Cricut stuff if we can find images, save them and use them for free?
I think that some people pay for the Cricut images because it is easier to pay for them and have them ready to go, then to upload an image, clean it up and create the layers. It is like the difference of going out to eat, or cooking your own meals at home. One is cheaper but more work.
