Jerry Rhome weathered the storm that so many people succumb to When bad Brad Hefton got them in the corner. I have to admit Jerry was a better fighter that day for sure. But I have to tip my hat to Brad he didn't let that loss Define him he went on and fought great fights afterwards.
I think of this match as sort of a sequel to Rhome's '77 fight with Ross Scott. It plays out similarly, and with Hefton sort of being the Ross Scott of this particular era, it could've easily ended the same way.
I miss the old PKA days.
