    I've come across in life and on the internet, quite number of people who claim to be Ustadz, Sheikh, etc. who deliver 'sermons' in such a way that it is really obvious they're preaching from their high horse - they do not realise the pride, arrogance, power-craze that is obvious in the way they deliver the sermon and in the content of the sermons themselves. In my younger years, this was precisely what turned me off from religion. If not for the mercy of Allah and his Guidance, I would probably have been lost. I do not know what I must have done back then to deserve it, but I think Allah did give me Guidance. And I pray that Allah will always continue to give me Guidance. Nowadays, there are many many good scholars and communicators on the internet who do a much better job of 'teaching' or communicating to us about Islam, they're a blessing from Allah to us all. May Allah keep them all safe and strong so they may continue their good works.

    The heart of Islam is worshipping one true God not money leaders work gambling a bottle a bank women or idols, be fair clean and just brave and humble doing your duty towards your family neighbours and society, the rest is a personnel relation between the person and his God the sweetness of this relation it may show trough an act of worship trough knowledge trough charity trough jihad trough a smile trough a just word in front of an unjust ruler. There is no limit to the mercy of God his knowledge and wisdom. Islam is not about the worship of pictures statues men or ideas dancing and singing and siting around big tables of food, Islam is about the daily struggle against injustice desires poverty ignorance manipulation arrogance racism . Assalam I found this Arabic word when I search for the other word talked about.
    Arabic is a root driven language. The root gives the reader further meaning of what it is being said. Taqwa root is Waw-Qaf-Ya this root means: To protect, to save, preserve, guard against evil, be secure, one who guards against evil and that which harms and injures. The visual representation is to take a shield.
    Is it correct?
    Tasawwuf is it an Arabic word? Did it appear in Quran? Was there any sightings of sufi before Mohammed rasool allah pbuh appeared like as we know now. ???

    I understand being humble is basically mandatory when making rulings on God's religion. But in an absolute world, why is tasawwuf necessary specifically to make a ruling. Is a scholar's opinion reliant on his character? I guess in similitude, ilm-ul-rijal would determine whether a hadith was accepted on a Rijal's character...if he spit or wasn't fully observant on the deen, the hadith he relayed wasn't entered into Bukhari and Muslim, which are the two major hadith books we rely on for authenticity in evidencing rulings. However, in an absolute world is the character of a relayer important when he relays a saying or action of the Prophet? In the same way, is a scholar's character of absolute import (necessitating tasawwuf), when making a ruling on a Fiqhi matter? I understand this is religion which can affect souls of men...but the answer I would like is "why does their level of tasawwuf matter when it comes to making a Fiqhi ruling" ie. why is tasawwuf necessary to make a Fiqhi ruling. Otherwise, the importance of tasawwuf as it relates to humanity falling into error is beautiful and deep, jazak'Allah shaykh.

    • @abdhashmi
      @abdhashmi 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I guess, were Bukhari and Muslim SO careful in making sure their hadith compilation were pure, that they also looked at the character of the relayer of the hadtih and possibly omitted hadith that could have been used to make a decision?. Coudl it be, that some important statements of hte Prophet were omitted from our most important hadith books on account of character, which then ultimately affects our religion because it prevents us from grasping a hadith which may have been unnecessarily omitted from our books of evidence on account of character? I ask to learn, jazak'Allah khayr shaykh.

    • @abdhashmi
      @abdhashmi 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know character is extremely important, but do we rely on it too much? For the sake of Bukhari and Muslim I understand their intent in wanting to compile only the most authentic statements. But is too much weight given to character affecting authenticity. Is it possible to give a fatwa without being "pure". Is it possible to relay a hadith without being "pure"? I don't completely understand the connection. However, in terms of your own salvation with God, yes its absolutely necessary to be pure and i understand why tasawwuf is at the heart of our relgion. Just not in terms of scholastic ventures.

    One day a disciple of Imam Junayd was at the banks of the river Euphrates when, suddenly, he spotted his Master approaching the river. He followed Imam Junayd and, to his astonishment, watched the Imam approach the river and begin walking on the water, saying “Ya Allah! Ya Allah!” as he began to cross the mighty Euphrates on foot. The disciple was still dumbfounded at this miracle of his Shaykh when Imam Junayd, whilst walking on the water, turned around and, smiling at his disciple, called to him to follow his lead, saying ‘Just follow me and keep on repeating the words, “Ya Junayd!” as you walk on the water and you will be fine.’ Trusting in his Shaykh, the disciple began to cross the river and due to his faith he was able to walk on the water too.
