    There were times when Sufi Islam was dominant all over Turkey. The people were so nice and peaceful. Their hearts were immaculate. That is, until the Salafist Arabs rebelled and Mustafa Kamal closed all the Sufi dergahs. It's all over. There was peace, there was purity and happiness. All the bad guys united and eliminated the good guys. Nothing is and will never be the same. My heart hurts... 😢💔

    SUFISM is spiritual/mystic side of ISLAM. SUFIISM is part of ISLAM. The word SUFI itself is Arabic or Persian language word. This video is excellent introduction about SUFISM.

      Wrong.. The original islam means sufism. Ahlus sunnathul jama' is part of it. Original islam only can be found on sufism only.
      Note: video creator is little bit trying to emphasis sufism as it's only includes dancing, music, etc. By the images. Don't misunderstand it.

    There is nothing universal about sufism. Tasawwuf, which is the actual word we, the people who know about this stuff use, is claimed to be entirely Islamic and thus doesn't recognize any other religion in any way shape or form other than recognizing them to be kufr, which means disbelief, the kind that wins you eternal damnation in the hell.
    Whether the ahl-ul tasawwuf (which is the correct term that describes people who partake in tasawwuf) or any particular one of them are Muslim is open to debate and one cannot make blanket statements about their status in faith but you people don't know and understand shit, trust me.
    Philip Holm made a video about sufism about a month ago, the title is "what is sufism?" and the channel is called "Let's talk religion". He is a non-muslim who really, I mean really knows what he's talking about. He explains the whole situation in a more objective manner even though he's quite partial to sufism.
    Islam is not like hindusim. You just can't appropriate what you think to be parts of it and practice freely, I mean you can put on that ridiculous dress and start turning but it's not the same thing.
    Again; tasawwuf is exclusively Islamic, at least that's what it's practitioners think, but it's not what you think.

    Sufism in its highest spiritual sense of ‘An-Al-Haq’ or ‘I am The Truth’ is considered blasphemous. Islam would be rid of it’s extremist image if An-Al-Haq was available as an acceptable interpretation to adopt for the vastly peaceful majority of Muslims.

      ABSOLUTLY NOT. Sufism is denounced because of innovation, incantations, and rituals that are not prescribed and blatently go against Islamic teachings of the SUNNAH.
      ISLAM IS QURAN AND SUNNAH.
      NOT SUFI MYSTICISM. Even if there is a little benefit or knowledge gained, the disasterous negatives out wiegh the benefit.
      SUFISM IS A DENOUNCED MYSTIC PRACTICE.
      Please new people to islam do not be misled. Seek the STRICT SUNNAH (PRACTICE of the prophet directly)
      And always ask for sources of any information or claim made to you.
      Ask them for reference numbers and passage proofs. It will always tell you who is telling the truth and who is INVENTING islam.

Malkuth means heaven. Hubba means love. Hubba to you and yours. My Covenant with God aka Elohim Adonai Hashem is to make Israel one. Spirituality is fundamental universal way of life in its own nature, Sufism or no Sufism of the mediaeval Islam. The Divine ia a Reality since eternity and long before Islam was born. If Islam and Sufism can contribute something more to culture of spiritual life, so much the better, but fact of the matter on ground speaks something else. They are not least grateful and respectful yet to their own elders in the history of human race.

    • @Rhythm-LAB
      @Rhythm-LAB  ปีที่แล้ว +14

      I appreciate your comment. You make an important point about how women are depicted in mystical religions and philosophies. It is essential to acknowledge the significant contributions of female mystics to Sufism, despite the fact that women have historically been underrepresented in various mystical traditions, including Sufism. Let me give you a few noteworthy examples:
      Al-Adawiyya Rabi'a: She was an eighth century female spiritualist and artist. Rabi'a is broadly perceived as an image of affection based magical encounters in the Islamic world.
      Zeynep Hatun: a 14th-century Turkish mystic who was female. She is known to have followed the lessons of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi.
      Rabia Balkhi: A ninth century Persian spiritualist and writer. She is viewed as one of the main female delegates of Sufi verse.
      Niffariyya: A Sufi spiritualist and writer who lived in the tenth hundred years. In Iran and Iraq, she had a significant impact.
      Rabi'a Khatun: A fourteenth century Persian writer and spiritualist. She aims to spread the teachings of Sheikh Ahmed Sirhindî and is associated with him.
      These are just a few of many examples. Women mystics have been an important part of Sufism because they have gone on deep mystical journeys and helped spread and apply Sufi teachings. It is essential to acknowledge and celebrate their significant contributions. Much thanks to you again for your remark, and I trust this gives a more extensive point of view on the presence of ladies in Sufism.

    SUFIISM is UNITARIAN/UNIVERSAL spirtuality. Tradtionally Sufism is part of ISLAM ---- but SUFIISM is definitely beyond MUHAMMADANISM. This video is excellent indeed.

    Sir, almost your 80-85% information is valid,but it is for your very kind information that Sufism has nothing to do with music, dance or any other illegitimate action(stated about Rumi in particular are counterfeit) in the eye of Islamic Sharia. Moreover, Sufism is the most strict observing path intrinsically of islamic law and the most flexible path extrinsically for non-muslims. Lastly, one should consult an authentic and contemporary murshid/mystic before forming a view about Sufism. Some of them are PEER ZULFIKAR NAQSHBANDI AND PEER MUFTI MUKHTAR-U-DIN OF PAKISTAN. THANKS

      Thank you for sharing your ideas so kindly. but only Salafis and Wahhabis treat Rumi in this way. I do not agree with your views, Mr. Khan. Ney has a long historical relationship with Sufi Islam and Sufi Music. same with semazens (Sufi whirling). Best regards 🌺

      @@Rhythm-LAB sorry sir, you got me wrong because i belong to CHISHTI order and HANFI sect and don't belong to those sects for which you blamed me. I just wanted to give you real shape and aim of Sufism that any path which will be ever against Sharia will never ever lead you into the depths of Sufism.
      I suggests there is a misconception that it is WAJD or Rapture which you consider as "dance" and it is SUROR/ melody which you consider as (Music with musical instruments) which are both Haram according to Sharia law (including Hanfi,Shafi,Hambali...) or you can search for PEER ZULFIKAR of NAQASHBANDI ORDER

    • @FAWADKHAN-kw6ef
      @FAWADKHAN-kw6ef ปีที่แล้ว

      It is also to be remembered that this Rapture/ Wajd is attained in the last stages of Sufism where you loss your consciousness automatically and it doesn't need manual force like practicing dance.

    While presented Sufism as a singular entity despite the different schools of Sufism, Persia was never mentioned as the highly likely place of origin of this mystical practice. It could be argued that while Islam didn't originally have a mystical tradition, Persia's indigenous mystical tradition provided this more personalised form of spirituality. Consequently, it is plausible for survival reasons that the Persian contribution was absorbed or allowed to be absorbed into Islam for the sake of survival. Another issue for me is the over-emphasis on Rumi with no mention of his Persian cultural heritage having come from what today is Afghanistan. While other poets were mentioned, their cultural origins, Persia, was also not mentioned. A bit disappointing.
