"Bendy and the Ink Machine™" is the first person puzzle action horror game that will forever ruin your childhood love of cartoons.
Bendy and the Ink Machine is a survival horror game that uses a mixture of puzzle solving, environment exploration and combat to aid Henry on his journey through Joey Drew Studios. Players explore through a first-person view and have limited physical actions such as running and jumping. Different items can be collected, some of which are required to perform various tasks before proceeding. Cans of bacon soup, a reference to the game's creator theMeatly and his partner Mike Mood, can also be collected for both achievements and to restore Henry's health if he is injured.

The fact where the old version had a door that was locked behind Henry's desk and the new version had a whole new room is just... 👌 👌
Version 1.5 has beautiful lighting but I prefer the originals lack of light, the dark gritty look is more fitting for a horror game
I do agree it's a bit scarier, but I think I would've gotten sick of it after a while.

And not just that but the entire old version makes more sense. It's creepier and darker now it's just a bright interesting boring too detailed not making sense playhouse
@@meoww1019 I find the first one gave a more unsettling vibe.. mainly with the noise, the ambiance was different and just more quiet and the sound affects for the bendy cutout jumpscares were somehow even scarier with the slightly lower pitched audio, not to mention Henry’s gasp when it pops up out of nowhere

Honestly the worse lighting in 1.0 just gives a better horror effect. The better lighting now just doesnt give that much of a feeling to it

Yes ! I think the older version is alot scarier. The jumpscare had alot of flashing lights and bendy was looking around as if he was just awoken and looking for prey. His face was very clear and once you see that smile , you never forget it. Meanwhile the newer version was a bit more predictable and he tries to grab you , then gives up for some reason. I always thought ppl generally ran immediately in the first one compared to v1.5 where they were confused.

I liked the original Bendy jump scare, because he looks like he is a normal guy looking around for a way to get me. He also appears out of nowhere and the camera doesn’t get pushed away. It is scarier closer.

I do like all the improvements made in 1.5 but I think that the game felt scarier in the first version due to the darker ambience, if 1.5 improved the darker ambience with the better lighting it has the game would have looked much creepier imo
No fam it's still there the only thing that makes it creepy is it's so empty

It's the same as Gmod maps it's so bland that it felt creepy bruh but with a few touches of furniture/details it can remove the tension
@@edrienmanzanero4081 I agree, the game is still creepy and I'm not saying that the dark ambience is gone completely or that it is necessary to have for a horror game, but I recently played BATIM with a mod that let you play the whole game with a darker ambience, and if I did my first playthrough with that mod I would've been shaking the whole time because the darker ambience and the uncannines of the enviorment do have a really nice chemestry

Why remove it? There was no problem with it.
I assume that they progressively wanted Henry to be less and less talkative as the development went on. In chapter 1 he talks a lot, but by chapter 5 he basically is a silent protagonist.

Man remember back when every chapter has a post-credit scene?
The first ink machine reveal was like: oh wow, the ink machine.
The latest ink machine reveal: grand, dramatic music whilst chains lift up the ink machine
I think both work for what they tried to do. The original was trying to be an abandoned studio which tried to bring characters to life through a small machine and the occult, which was done in an amazing way. But the new one fits better with it being an exaggerated, cartoony recreation of a studio made of ink, created for the torment of the former workers.
Although the game is a lot better now, I miss the days of v1.0. The bendy in it is my favorite bendy.

The old Bendy had a waaay creepier ambience in it. The new and current one feels less like a horror game and more like a bioshock / action game.
Anyone else wish meatly added a hidden feature where if you entered the date of the original demos release, it would revert the whole game into how it looked in the demo release?

I kinda love both but I prefer the new one most. The new demon is more scary as hell. Always teleports anywhere he wants. Also the chase theme is far more scarier than original. I love the old demon because he was cute he didn't do much just appear and looking left,right. Still I was scared. Also there is a missing door and missing henry line in the old version. When henry saw bendy alpha. He said: I'm getting the hell outta here. Now u can't here it. Also there was a door behind the first bendy cutout jumpscare near the ink machine lever room. Now u don't have it also when henry first time saw ink machine he said: So this is the ink machine huh? Wonder how u turn it on? Now he says: This lift could use for a dry sells. Let's see what are u hiding down there old friend? Also when henry saw the bendy cutout. He was so scared he said: Ah! Oh! Who put this here? Now: Henry is not scared but he still says who put this here? Boris's original name was Papa.
I don't know why people think the old Bendy is scarier than the new one. The old one just looks like a melted popsicle with a toothy smile slapped onto it.
