    Very nice. Did you make the ribbon cables magically disappear after you put the upper manual into the assembly?

    • @ZoerselTV
      @ZoerselTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn't make disappear anything , they are under the manuals

    I'm speechless watching this build. I feel like you should do a fallboard to complete the job - even though I think they are mostly in the way. Is it build to scale or slightly smaller?

    • @ZoerselTV
      @ZoerselTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      A little bit smaller, and personally I have no need for a fallboard (indeed mostly in the way )

    Hello,
    Congratulations for the good job
    I'm a small craftsman with passion for the Hammond organ and I'm making a B3 style mobile similar to her.
    But I can not find the pedestals for the furniture legs.
    Could you please tell me where did you find them?
    thank you in advance
    I apologize for the bad English

      Don't understand your question . Do you mean where I found the leg's ?
      They were custom made by a wood turner.
      Details of the separate lower part ( with the leg's ) can be found on the FACEBOOK

    WISH he would have shown what the buttons are and where the LESLIE SWITCH IS that is the main thing people need to see

    • @ZoerselTV
      @ZoerselTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The red button at the left hand and IR switch mounted under the keyboards, and activated with the right knee.

    Really nice work on that Cabinet. Looks great :)
    What kind of Pedalboard did you use for the HX organ ?

    • @ZoerselTV
      @ZoerselTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Looks great, and the sound is also great, isn't it.
      The pedal board is recuperation from a old THOMAS organ. The old noisy switches were replaced by silent microswitches . The pedal is connected to the pedal25 scanboard in the organ with a centronics 25p printercable.

      I just wish you could get ahold of the modded keybeds Crumar uses (without haveing to buy the mojo and pick it apart :)
      from playing the hammond xk-1c and nord electro those standard fatar beds are not just bad, but really really bad to play unfortunately :(

      @ZoerselTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only reseller of FATAR I know is Doepfer in Germany . The possible modification ( if true ) you can do is replace the spring's , but I don't know if Crumar did that .
      Keyboards are playing nice , as they come from the factory . No need to change.
      But there's a change made, in the scancode of the HX3 , so the keys react after a key press of ca. 3mm.

      Have you tried comparing them to a real Old school Hammond keys, or just a decent synth from the 80-90'es ?
      I know Fatar has become standard today in many keyboards .. because they are cheap. I have tried both Hammond XK-1c and Nord Electro 4 wich both uses standard Fatar 61tp/80 and they are really really bad. they feel like cheap plastic that could break if you get a little rough with them (and organists often are) and they are really springy to press down (I know they soften up with use). It is actually heavyer to press down than many weighted Piano keybeds.

      I know, I played 30 years, on a HAMMOND C3 , and indeed those keyboards ( also made from a sort of plastic , with a metal core inside) were very strong . But that's the past.
      No one can make an affordable keyboard t like those today anymore. We can regret that , but it's true.
      The new FATAR'S have a huge advantage:
      No bad or cracking contacts anymore...but you cannot walk on them....

    How much was this build?

    if you dont' have all the buttons and the PRESETS whats the point.

    • @ZoerselTV

      It's a must . Command center for everything . Some are doubled with real toggle switches (percussion, vibrato, cv )
