Quick experience, later comparison of HX3.5 with Legend Live

Brand new HX.53 module full controlled via legend live. Based on a quick introduction and a short test, I tried to adjust the sound of the module. I set up Legend in two years, this module would take a lot more time than a few days, but not mine, I just helped set it up for basic use. The depth of the setting options is impressive, but it will also take a lot of time in the future. Out (HX, LL) 1-1 mono to Alto Ts-312 active box. Sng A21s audience recording. HX: 0:00-11:34, 13:42-15:40, 16:43-17:52, 18:39-20:00, 20:42-21:16, 24:45 to end.

Thank's for this comparison. I like the key click on the HX3.5, the difference is obvious. However, I can't form a definitive opinion on the Leslie simulation. As for the tone of the tone wheels, it seems to me that the Legend is less warm, rich, more synthetic. But roughly speaking, it's a bit difficult to get a clear picture. So, according to you, from the player perspective, which do you prefer ? Which one offers the best feeling, and gives more pleasure to play ?

Hi. It is not easy to choose. I only borrow HX3 for a short time. Many sound details are not perfect in the Legend instrument. But still a musical instrument. The HX3 has an extremely wide range of settings. I think this voice is more balanced. It may not be a greater pleasure to play on it. Maybe I liked the sound a little better, but the character was much different. Organs may already be acceptable on both instruments.

I will say, in regard to leslie simulation, the Viscount is TERRIBLE. I sold my HX3 long before the 3.5 update (due to perceived thinness i later discovered was the faultof my Neo Ventilatorl, so I can't speak to its improvements in the rotary model. But, as an instrument, the HX-3's tweakability is unrivaled & the sound is superiorly authentic. I'd definitely find a controller and go for the HX3. I'm selling my Legend asap, since acquiring a Hamichord M-C3, which is far better suited for midi controlling apps/modules beyond just an HX-3.

Sorry but what are you actually comparing? It seems like just using the HX 3.5 through the Legend? Am I missing something? Thanks for the video though

Please read my description. I'll list where i switch between the instruments. Where there is no HX, there is Legend, with the same registration.
