After the famous shoes from the 'Wizard of Oz' were stolen from the Minnesota birthplace of actress Judy Garland, a campaign to have them returned is underway. Correspondent Mark Irons reports.

Why would anyone want to steal something like that? You can't sell them, or show them off to people, without inviting even worse trouble. Who would even want them as personal possessions? I suppose some people simply get their jollies taking things away from others.
Incidentally, are they sure those are even Judy's shoes? If they're size 6, they were her stand-in's; Judy wore size 4.

Whoever stole them isn’t trying to sell them. More likely they were hired by whatever rich person wanted them, and they are now in a private collection with no intention of sale in the future. They show them off to other rich people who also have similar private collections.

she was trying to get love from her parents....they didn't want her....and she did that many traumatized children do....they try very hard to get that love...the trauma is also why she died young
