The percussionist had great coordination. She almost never directly viewed the drums themselves and completely concentrated on playing. Wow.
Thomas Crandall she played a pretty basic rhythm throughout I mean it's not that hard and this is coming from someone who can only play at like a grade 4 standard 😂
FUNKYLUNG Playing that consistently, that well for that long, is hard though. She's on it all the way through.
Check her out in... pretty much anything by Lydian Collective. She knows her stuff.
FUNKYLUNG if you can only play at a “grade 4 standard”, you don’t have much experience for someone critiquing someone who is a musician by occupation.
lol, really not as incredibly impressive as you think, I don't know any drummer above a novice level that couldn't easily play a song this simple blindfolded
Saxes sound great, but I'm equally impressed with the sound of the drums. That's a killer sound for a 3-mic setup. It doesn't hurt that Sophie is in the pocket for the entire time!
The contra! Gotta love that deep sound. If only I could march with one.

Mr.Wingy get a neck strap with a contra?....BRUH! I use a shoulder harness to March a Bari ain't no way u can march a freaking contra anyway too big but I would still love to play though

Awesome Friends Gaming why marching band with sax? Brass instruments are much better in marching band music. Jazz band is the only way to go with sax.
I love playing my band's rendition of this on my tenor cause I get to play the bass part, and the melody! It's great!
just by listening to some of the saxophones makes me want to learn and buy one.

Be aware that they are pretty expensive. I recommend the alto, or maybe even the tenor. I play alto, so maybe I'm biased, but I think it's the easiest and definitely the most popular.
When it comes to jazz, even though I started out on alto, I very much prefer tenor in both jazz and pop music.
• For me Tenor gives you the benefits of both bari and alto backed into one: you get a bit of that classic gritty sound that the bari can give in the lower register yet still getting clear notes in the higher register.
• The sound I feel also has more soul to it, but maybe thats just my opinion.
+Planet Ko if you want to learn I recommend starting on alto, as its the cheapest and easiest to learn, and progress to different instruments as your skill increases; learning to play different instruments with their unique sounds and methods of playing will greatly influence the way you play for the better.

I love your guys videos and I've been playing sax for about 2 years from a soprano to a baritone and I love to get new parts to expand my playing but the only place i can get reeds, mouthpieces or whatever is this tiny nick rail place an hour away over here in America and I was wondering if sax.uk.co was going to expand over seas because not only would we have a place to get our products we need but I know lots of people who would like to work there
