Alyssa, it is OK to cry when dropping off a foster. We have fostered many greyhounds, and I've cried a few times. Some are just so special!

Thor is lovely. I prefer to hear and see Alyssa. She is prettier, less verbose and less boring with hidden promotions than Kyle. Thanks for the beautiful and breathtaking landscapes. Those roof bars do not add to the eficiency of any car and it gets worse with strong headwinds. If Alyssa is looking for a car with lots of space, the MY is the way to go.

Living in Evergreen Colorado, the best way to go to Salt Lake City is down I70 to Green River then to Salt Lake. I have no reason to go to Wyoming, and there are more CCS chargers than Tesla Superchargers along this SLC route. That's why I'll probably get a CCS BEV.
I mean, yeah Park City is pricey, but it's SO lovely here.

It's always fun to hit the road with you guys. And what a beautiful thing you do for these larger dogs. Thor sure seemed sweet. Looks like you delivered him to a beautiful home filled with love. So, yeah. I would like to see more of these dog delivery adventures.
Great video and a great cause! My wife and I participated in a CH Kitty transport earlier this month. It was truly great to help that sweet little guy get from Virginia to Maine. It was relay-style so only an hour or so. Nowhere close to an OOSM trip. Kudos!

Kyle mentions a train and commenting about trains. In the USA most routes for trains were electric until 70-ties when high demand for copper contributed to scrapping electric locomotives and replacing them with Diesel ones. That was a huge mistake considering how much it will cost to electrify them back. Most places in Europe and Asia today employ electric trains not only for environmental reasons but mostly for cost efficiency and high speed use. Ironically the most powerful locomotives in the world are electric used in Russia and especially in China for extra heavy duty hauling extra long trains carrying coal.

Oh yeah. I just got my model Y. I have a big dog. He fits in the hatch without the seats being down. I usually put one down or the middle so he can pop through and say hi and go back to his comfy space.
Great video! Here in Salt Lake we have 3 super chargers! The one you went to, another Tesla dealership a few miles away, and another set probably a mile or 2 away from the one you were at, by Costco!

A little train information. Most people think they are diesel. However, they are actually electric. Each wheel axil has an electric motor on it. The diesel engine actually runs a large generator to power the electric motors.

First off.....I love Thor! what a big cutie! Second, as someone who lives in the midwest (IL) and suffers from the same lack of charging infrastructure, I too am excited to see where all this is going to go in next 2-3 yrs....my lease is up in spring of 2023 so I'm itching for my next car to be EV...right now I'd have to have a home charging situation which I don't (live in apartment and no public chargers at all in my area). so hopefully some public chargers come online in the next couple of yrs or I move to a house....plus all the new choice of vehicle that will be available in about 2-3 yrs will be awesome!

I thought I saw you returning from the hibachi grill in Rock Springs as I was charging my X on my trip from New Orleans to the Oregon coast. Had a heck of a headwind that day also. Props to you both on the the dog rescue. Hauling two dogs and two cats I can definitely recommend the X 5 seat for the trip although we've done it in the 3 also.

You should pencil in a trip to Int'l Falls, MN. January 13-16 (our Ice Box Days celebration). Good way to showcase our cold climate and do some efficiency testing at 30-40 F below zero....lol . We have a couple of chargers that are used by cold weather testers that come up each Winter to test vehicles but no others.

Loved this video. I think you two are ready for prime time. Try pitching what you do to a few cable channels that do reality TV shows.(change nothing). The combination of dog rescue and EV's would surely be a hit. We are on the cusp of a transportation revolution and most people don't understand EV's. That is why it would be a hit. I also love the music to your motoring.......lol
