Hi Robert, I couldn't find your comments on Primal Zone euro nymphing rods. I'm thinking of getting a back up rod in the same price range as my Clearwater 10' while it is being repaired. have you heard of any reviews on the PZ 10'6" 3wt ? Cheers
@@PhilKing-u3s Phil - my son has just fished Barb’s Primal Zen 10’ 3wt with great success on the Goodradigbee and Goobarragandra Rivers, and I can assure that then the Primal Zen is a lot of rod for the money - when I collapsed the rod yesterday I marveled at how well made the rod appears to be - and how firm the ferrule seatings were, while still being easy to break apart (i.e the ferrules did not stick - and pulled apart smoothly) - I would suspect that the Primal Zone is much of the same - go for it… the breakage replacement policy is unbeatable (i.e. you just buy a new tip - no sending the rods away like my Winstons)
@@adzoutnabout888 That shop is not for the faint hearted - it has all the cool kid gear - what I would say is that my flyfishing addiction is cheaper than my previous cycling addiction…
