  • The new FJ Westcott L60-B LED COB is one the the smallest products out there and is perfect for vloggers and serious location video shooters alike. I can see a lot of people that are filming weddings getting these because they are so small and easy to pack and carry. That you can vary the color temps from 2700-6500K is really handy too. Let me know if you have any questions about the new LED from Westcott. As always, thanks for watching!!! pm-r :)

I'm loving the L60B! It's my go to TH-cam light for my videos.

Noob here. I design book covers and photograph editorial illustrations. I'm looking for a softbox and light setup. A photographer friend is advising me to go Bowens mount, silver interior, and something in the 90-120cm range. I was looking at the 3x3' Westcott softbox and stumbled on this light. Can anyone recommend anything? My needs are simple. I shoot with a Canon 5D classic but don't want to mess with flash. I will almost always use the same setup once I get it dialed. I've gotten by for years with natural window light but want the flexibility to be able to shoot at night and have more control during the day.

You would be better off to use flash for shooting illustrations. Otherwise you'd have to use a tripod which will slow the process down and be more of a pain. My advice is to use a Westcott FJ200 which will provide plenty illumination for your purposes. The L60B could work but the output of any constant light source is just a fraction of what a flash allows. Here is a link to where you can find the FJ200 and if I were you, I'd use a silver inside 24" beauty dish as your primary light source. Silver is always more accurate in terms of color for reproducing accurately the color found in the art you will be copying. Let me know if you have any questions about this-- here is my affiliate link to find the FJ200: www.fjwestcott.com/collections/fj-wireless-flash-system-lighting?sca_ref=2860298.TlmV1g7N5F

Are gvm lights any good? They have a 150 watt bogo that I was looking at for $369. All plastic no battery attachment option. What are your thoughts? Thanks

not for anything more than 10 feet away... it's a low powered light just like your ML60. it's very good for shooting close ups of the brides face and rings and the like though...

Have you tired shooting any stills or headshots in real life situations? I shoot mostly stills an often in on location in stores. A small constant light would be a big game changer on location indoors.

if you shoot mostly stills, this is not the light for you--stick to strobes.

We need new Sony aps-c cameras. There is only one USB C model and no evf.

I'm using the a7C body with my APS-C glass and it works great and has USB-C. It's not that much larger than the a6600 but I can use all my FF glass on it too. I agree they need to update the a6600 so we have a newer sensor and Z battery with an EVF.

@@PMRTV a7c is too expensive. I got zv-e10 yesterday and today sent it back. One Button was not working. There was also trash near sensor under sensor cover and kit lens was without any bag and was missing lens cover. Cant believe Sony quality is this these days.

@@dayeah765caoni3 What? I bought the camera from Sony verified camera store. It was Body only package where lens where just added without protection. Also the dust right side of the sensor could tell that it was also refurbished package by 3rd party verified by Sony. There are actually many complains in the net about Sony Control Wheel and its problems. I think all these are actually caused by chip and raw shortage. Store told that because the lack of materials and chips Sony firms put those lens to the make "kit version". ZV-E10 was also stopped manufacturing because of chip shortage about year ago and after that these kind of packages arrived. All my other Sony products from the 80's to last years are very good products. Chip and raw material shortage is the problem of all companies. I have been using Sony products about 40 years.
