This is a fine example of...... CONTROLLED CHAOS..... on guitars and drums. This song is 55 years old and it holds it's own as an absolute masterpiece. Did I hear someone say.... " Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys".......

Steve Winwood a musical genius, believe he started in a band at 14 or 15, and Traffic one of the great bands of that golden age of late sixties and early seventies music.

Stevie Winwood was about 14 or 15 when he joined The Spencer Davis Group, they had some great songs such Keep On Running and Gimme Some Lovin'. Stevie left them in 1967 to form Traffic. 😊

Great song from Traffic with Stevie Winwood, his voice is so good and so recognisable. Traffic were a great band with loads of great songs, such as Paper Sun, Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush and Hole in My Shoe. Way back in 1963 Stevie Winwood joined a band called The Spencer Davis Group, he was only about 14 or 15 at the time. They had a lot of great songs including two of my favourites, Keep on Running and Gimme Some Lovin'. Stevie left them in 1967 to form Traffic. Thanks so much for your reaction, guys, really enjoyed it as I always do. Take care now. 😊👍

I woke up today thinking about the phrase "Make it snappy." Pretty weird huh. And then to see y'all reviewing this song! What I was thinking was this: When I hear it in the song, I think it means to "make it something with a catchy beat". I had forgotten =until this morning the typical meaning of old, and that was "to do it with dispatch, or without hestitation. Maintenent. Plus vite."Anyway...what a great great song...and so early in the game, my god. 1967? They were at the cutting edge, and had the chops to cope. Great choice.

Great reaction as always, Bros. ❤ Steve Winwood is easily one of the greatest talents that had ever existed: awesome multi-instrumentalist, lyricist, and a top notch singer. However, when if comes to Traffic, Jim Capaldi’s work (the drummer, most frequent lyricist of the band, and a fierce vocalist in his own right) is vastly underrated. I strongly suggest you to do “Light Up Or Leave Me Alone” from them, which features Capaldi on lead vocals. Capaldi had a strong friendship with George Harrison since the late 80’s, and they even wrote a couple of tunes together (I suggest you “Love’s Got A Hold On Me”). Sadly, he passed away from stomach cancer in 2005, frustrating a potential Traffic reunion.

Steve Winwood is a musical prodigy who started playing music at an age, when most kids are just beginning to learn to read. And the bands he's been a part of have all been successful, though his greatest success came from his solo career. However, Steve's voice is his most recognizable trait. I think he's got an incredibly soulful voice. Here's one of his popular songs during his solo career "Steve Winwood - Roll With It - BBC1 - Monday, 6th June 1988" and not trying to take anything away from this band either, because they have some wonderful songs also. Just thought I'd introduce you to some of Steve Winwoods solo work too. He's had a stellar career. Great reaction guys, thanks for sharing 🔥💖🎸🎶🤗

I’m not a patron so I have no clout when requesting a band for them to react to. I wish they would do more Motown groups, the band Ambrosia, and the band Player. … Baby Come Back. They don’t do many female artists, ether. I love Bonnie Raitt and her hit, I Can’t Make You Love Me. Also love The Stylistics and their hit, You Make Me Feel Brand New. They seem to like to stick to rock and roll.

I love heavy metal, heavy rock etc but there's loads of other music I like as well. There's quite a few 1960s bands they haven't done yet or maybe only just one reaction, The Small Faces, The Spencer Davis Group, The Animals, The Kinks, then, Motown as you say, The Four Tops, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, there's just so much. And then female singers, Dusty Springfield, Tina Turner, Joan Jett, Patti Smith, etc. I just keep making recommendations/suggestions in the comments and hopefully they will read them and find them interesting! 😊
