My favorite music also came from the late 60 especially psychedelic. One of the greatest psychedelic rock songs was You keep me Hanging On by Vanilla Fudge in 68
I hope you consider reacting to it. It's FIRE.

Low Spark of High Heeled Boys might be Traffic’s most famous song and is definitely the most “chill” song ever 👍

Love Traffic! Steve Windwood is one of the best musicians of the last 60 years. He's still active, and still Awesome... If you haven't already, you should check out "Can't find my way home" by Blind Faith. Another band with Mr. Windwood, Eric Clapton, Ric Grech, and Ginger Baker.

Maaaan, back in the day, I would get melted, slap some albums like this on the stereo, and just let them play one after the other as I sat on my front porch and watched the world go by. Every so often, being an inanimate object, listening to great music is a great way to spend the day. Always remember: Be Kind (to yourself) - Unwind.

Man, this was a seminal song in Rock History and Steve Winwood once again, is at the center of a another classic song and band, the amazing Traffic. You can't go wrong with a tune from them, they had some remarkable stuff back in the late 60s - early 70s. If you have not heard it, do Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. Like the song you just reacted to, there are amazing live versions of these live in 1972, video worth finding. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎷🎶

This brings me back to when I was in college in the mid 70's. We were broke so we often spent Saturday night sitting around a listening to music on vinyl like this.

There will never be a band like Traffic again. Prog rock, rock, jazz, funk, blues, folk, psychedelic, soul, they were driven by the music and doing the music they wanted to do and not what was considered to be popular at the time. Excellent musicians all, with Steve Winwood (a talented multi-instrumentalist) doing most of the vocals. A great journey of music exploration if you choose to dive deeper into Traffic.

Steve Winwood was still just 21 when this album came out in 1967 but he had already been a significant success in the Spencer Davis Group, which he joined in 1963. During his time with that group they released three albums in 1965 and 66 before he left to form Traffic. This album was released in the U.S. with variations in tracks and mixes as Heaven is in Your Mind but as well as that both the U.K. and U.S. version of the album were released in both Stereo and Mon mixes, meaning the there were four variants of the album released.

This is a huge hit and stands the test of time. It was even used as the opening song for Avengers; Endgame. Been covered by many other artists, including the Grateful Dead. If Steve Winwood is involved, it's going to be some quality stuff. Traffic is in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, too.
