**I'd like to add the caveat, though, that StealthGamerBR is a fucking God and has literally changed how I play Dishonored and the Far Cry series**
Ikr. AC is renowned for its amazing stealth gameplay, so of course people expect a lot more from assassin's creed than just going behind a dude and stabbing him. where is all the amazing parkour that was in early games like unity. There is mostly only open land and tons of fields in this game,I don't wanna fricking just crouch around the entire area and kill people. There also used to be a ton of cool gadgets in the old games, but all that you have in this game is an axe. No offense to stealthgamer tho, actually its amazing how he managed to make even this bad game look so good

@@Rahul-px3my AC isn’t really renowned for its stealth mechanics imo its mostly renowned for its parkour system there really wasn’t a game with free running before AC1 or AC2
@@yourenotthatguypal3483 True. I don't know anyone (myself included) who played AC because of it's "amazing stealth". It was never a stealth game in the first place. It was always more about the parkour, their portrayal of history and the world, etc. If I wanted stealth I'd play Dishonored, Splinter Cell, MGS and such.

I assassinated a dude pissing. The guards Ive noticed are not entirely linear at post, they do rotate and get bord.

It's not boring for me, but it feels like they add some good things while removing other. It doesnt feel like an assassins game to me, just a viking game with a stealth mode. If you look at his ghost of tsushima video and compare you will understand what i am saying.

@@Nico-345 because let me tell u the end ties all of the ac games together, the last time the modern day progressed so far was in ac3 so i would really disagree with the statement that its not an ac game the modern story alone is enough to carry the game assassins creed was never only about assassins and tempars it is mostly for isu artifacts etc and this game delivers on that

Whoa man, this video significantly increases my interest in valhalla. Finishing moves look and feel so satisfying, definitely a good combination of sound effect and animation. Also I find it hilarious that Eivor has endless supply of hatchets, like Batman and his batarangs.

Enjoying stealth gameplay (in any game) requires the role playing mind. If you think like an assassin, you'll have a ton of fun, because you'll act like someone who is really hunting down their prey (like in this video). But if you just sneak behind someone from a bush, kill him and start fighting other enemies it becomes boring. Heck, with that playstyle even Dishonored would have a boring stealth gameplay

might be a bug or something, it was obvious that he was trying to assassinate the one walking in front of him, the assassinate prompt even showed up but instead it targeted the further one lel

It’s funny how AC started off with hidden blades to “stealthily” smashing people’s heads in with heavy weapons.
If I recall you could most defintely perform stealth combat assassinations with most weapons from as far back as ac2 or mostly ac brotherhood I believe.
@AardvarkMitochondria yup, the point is, there’s hardly any “assassin-y” stuff going on anymore. The last real ac in my opinion is syndicate. This ac Valhalla is fun and a great game too, it’s just not ac anymore.

And using a hammer to kill someone doesn´t make it "non-stealth". Like, how do you think people get silently murdered? With whatever is available. A knife, a hammer or a freakin scissor. Doesn´t matter

Like odyssey did with nothing but fetch quests I'll admit. But each game is extremely unique nowadays, because they're made by different studios. People think ubisoft is just one team when there's offices all around the world

Best part is the fact you can use random drunk ppl to distract guards for you. And, you can play dead x)

It's guys like this that make assassin's creed Valhalla and call of duty cold war so fun and enjoyable when it comes to stealth options and is just making the games fun in general because i really love both either way because of this guy.

Best things I like about the game: the sound when you assassinate someone really satisfying, short parkour jumps over fences nd such seems really fluid, and the overall brutality of the game, dudes arm chopped off, spear down hommies mouth shits crazy can't wait to see more!

It really says a lot about how far Ubisoft has let the Assassin's Creed franchise fall when personally, as somebody very interested in Norse mythology, and a big fan of Viking related things in general, can watch a stealthgamerbr video about this game and still have practically no interest in buying it or playing it.
