Read this please, before open it!! Its important (thats going wrong with my repair of the SM-T510) that you NOT use something sharp/card at the BOTTOM of the screen. I damaged the cable that control the touchscreen. The screen go’s on, but the screen won’t react at you touch. This i want to share with you.
Well I just tried following your guide and ended up killing my tablet. There's a small ribbon cable down near the charge port that connects the 2 sides of the screen, and whilst using a spudger to pry apart the glue, I ended up damaging it. Would have been nice if you'd warned us about this in your video
I have this tablet, it was working fine, the battery swelled and slightly pushed the screen out about 1/8th of an inch then it went off would not come back on. You could hear the volume tone for up and down , but screen would never come back on. Took it to a computer service, they tried a new battery but could not get it to come on, and gave up. I picked it up with no battery and assume it's just a paper weight now. I've seen these operate out of the case so can't imagine how pushing the screen out a fraction of an inch damaged anything.
This is tricky it would be nice just to get a replacement board with the charger port already wave soldered on the board. I bet the board is not available
What Happens If You Remove the Touchscreen Digitizer While the Tablet is Still Turned On? I'm replacing an unresponsive touchscreen digitizer so I am unable to power down the unit.
Hello, I have bought a screen for a tablet like that, believing that it would be the screen that was broken, since it did not turn on but when pressing the power button after a few seconds it made some beeps as when it was turned on normally, not even the Samsung logo. I also changed the usb-c charging module since I got a humidity error in that port, if you could help me I would appreciate it, a greeting Thank you
No need to replace at all. Just turn off the tablet if it has not already turned off due to low battery. Plug the charging cable into the charge port and wait for the screen to turn on and the moisture warning ⚠ to come up. Then turn on and once you see the home screen it will be charging. If you pull the charging cable out at anytime you have to go through this procedure every time you want to charge it but hey it doesn't cost anything but a minute of your time each time you charge. If your going to repair please Do Not stick anything in and then run it around the edge as if you don't know what's inside under the screen you will more than likely damage some of the cable's especially along the bottom edge of this particular product as has been commonly done. Always pry up a corner just ever so slightly enough to slip something like a playing card or business card that is thin but reasonably stout enough to keep the glue from sticking and then move along the edge alittle way and repeat applying heat when needed You will end up with 5 or 6 cards sticking out of and then it will slowly come apart. Also you don't need to push the cards in very much just enough to keep the glue from sticking.

How do you put the screen back? Do you use glue or something else?
