th-cam.com/video/oOD9NnTevH0/w-d-xo.html Check out how this lady has mastered riding the GS 1200 even though the bike is way taller and bigger than what we would consider possible for her. 🏍
Great video and explanation, great bikes too. Can’t believe you made a video on the 3 bikes I’m considering. Im leaning More towards the Honda 300l Rally because I watch Noraly at itchyBoots channel and she’s taken that thing everywhere and in difficult situations is a lot easier to handle and get out of trouble because of it’s light weight.
All good my friend, truth be told, my dad just ordered a Rally himself. I’ll be coming back to post a few videos and really start exploring and getting his ride first time perspective. Weight reduction is so incredibly important.
@@motormigo3204 also would you say klr feels bigger than bmw? I know it's lighter, but was curious if it feels like you are sitting higher on klr. From your demonstration, felt like it.
Excellent video ! I have a Tiger 900 RP that essentially splits the GS and the KLR but I just bought a 300 Rally as well. The Honda is damn near the jack of all trades and I’m totally comfortable going into the woods without other riders.
Deep respect Peter! Great to hear from you again, I should be starting up a fabrication series and may look to forge some pieces for y’all in the future!
Great points about the bikes weight! I used to practice with my dad's cruiser bike and I never liked picking the bike up when I tipped it over trying to take off. I'm now looking at a crf300l rally for my next bike since I do want to do some offroading, but I'm also looking at a supermoto because of their lightness compared to any naked bikes.
Tire pressure monitors are a pain in the ass when you want to pressure down for off road. The Triumph TFT lights up with red warning ⚠️ like the bike is about to explode
1200cc... beginner adv bike, 140+ hp and 100 n.m+ of torque. so much of consideration 🤣🤣 imagine, seeing your newly adv friend, trying to throttle up the 1200 gs, and fyuuung, he fly away
I agree! You want to press the limit those bikes will get the job done and launch you. Just depends on how hard you want to ride the engine! Is the GS my first choice for little Johnny! No but, maybe it is if you consider you like it and understand it’s a beast, and take some rider safety courses. It’ll mitigate a lot of things and the dynamic ESA on the GS will compensate for areas lacking control. It’s all mindset and preparation!
1200 Gs same as klr? Man I want the phone number of your dealer. The klr is a joke, I will take the 300 over klr any day, everyday. Gs is at another level, but offroad on gs is just another joke for the beginners.
I agree that GS and the KLR are the wrong tool for true offroading period. I’m not an advocate for anyone picking up a 600lb bike or 450lb. That’s why the off-road portrayal of the GS as a off-road bike to me is a facade because the riders showcasing it are expert/experienced riders! The GS and KLR are worlds apart in some respects (tech suite, power drive, weight) but they serve an essential mission. Long travels and some off-road (light gravel/dirt) for most people. Taking the 300 off-road over rock trails there is no question my choice!

Great review, thinking about getting new KLR 👍
Glad you enjoyed Mike 🤙🏍🇺🇸

Good review Jimmy. You nailed it mate. Loving my 300 rally
Much appreciated and deep respect my friend! Glad you are enjoying the rally!

Haven’t had the opportunity to ride the Tiger 900 RP yet! I agree taking the 300 Rally out in the woods solo is just a fun experience, no tension!
Great tutorial Jimmy! I’m relatively happy with my new 300 rally...quite view your points! 👍
Deep respect Peter! Great to hear from you again, I should be starting up a fabrication series and may look to forge some pieces for y’all in the future!
@@motormigo3204 Keep safe! Happy riding 🏍
The riding begins at 14:57.

Deep respect! Yeah you can’t go wrong and appreciate the cruiser bike story. Let me know what direction you end up going on the next bike!
Nice video! Now that you have the great little Honda you can sell the other two. LOL :)
Great point! But as the old adage goes you can never have too many bikes!!!
Always wanted to test ride a BMW 1200. My '03 Goldwing sure is a cruiser. Waiting on my 300L to show and the waiting sucks.
The BMW is a beast. That said, I haven’t had the chance to test out a goldwing, maybe in the future! Good luck!
Man, nice I have a deposit down on a new 2022 KLR650 !
Tire pressure monitors are a pain in the ass when you want to pressure down for off road. The Triumph TFT lights up with red warning ⚠️ like the bike is about to explode
Haha the pressure indicators are telling you you’re having too much fun!
For off-road take the Honda Africa twin 1100 any day!!! Xr650 weighs less than the Rally!!! Crazy.
Jimmy, why the fuck are you dressed in full MC gear and a helmet, when you are not going to take the CRF300 outside because it's raining ??????????

All in moderation! 🤣🏍💣 you have control of the throttle!
@@motormigo3204 for me... 80 hp really got the job done, like 450-700cc bikes...
