Ya know, even as someone unaffected by the "you know what game" and the "you know what issues," as an ally, I am disapointed that you played and contributed to it. I'm considering unsubbing. It wasn't too much to ask of you to NOT play something, you literally had to do, literally nothing. But you couldn't even do that. It such a basic choice. Harm-reduction or not. And you picked, not?! I have every right to say this and I don't doubt reactionary so-and-sos will reply with the same sadistic screeching that they usually do, but you as a kind of "public gamer" could have and should have done better - you should have done what little you could. If nothing else, we can all admire Dists optimism. No matter how little damage his summons have or how much damage they take, he always seems to have a positive outlook on it
He's really come a very long way from being angry and raging often to be so relaxing, staying calm & attempting to look at the good things despite the bad outcomes. I'm really proud of him :")

The Demihuman gank squad is my favorite summon in the game. Proud to see my boys do so well even though they weren’t fighting at 100%(daytime reasons.)
Imagine being Morgott, the grace given, last king of leyndell, one of the most powerful beings in the lands between and having your ass kicked by a land squirt
Dist has come so far in terms of keeping cool and staying relaxed during these runs through the years its like watching a totally different person and it is quite wholesome and awesome.. this run is one the best you have ever done!!
From what I’ve seen the reason why FG didn’t transition to phase two is because of a glitch where if summons are the only thing doing damage boss phase transitions don’t work properly. If you come into contact with the boss it will usually fix itself however
Could also be related to poise damage. AFAIK Tiche's black blade attack doesn't do poise damage, which is required for FG phase transition. He ended up going to phase 2 because his leg broke, which did poise damage.
i wonder if they'll add a "make summons stronger" talisman in the DLC, since there are so many summons and only a handful of them are actually any good
Watched the full vods on the other channel. Enjoyed them greatly, just outstanding content. This run had perhaps the funniest instance of Jinxtortion I've ever seen with Theodorix. this video doesnt do the whole run justice, watching Dist painlessly use spirits in the full run is one of the most entertaining and painful things to watch. if anyone wants to watch the whole vod, do so, because its hilarious.
All Bosses runs in this game are fun, but fuck me, do they take forever. You don't appreciate how massive this game is until you try to fight everything. And here's Dist, deciding that doing that normally doesn't take long enough and isn't hard enough.
This was a great watch ! To see how far you can push all the systems of this game is really cool. I just wish we could have gotten a little bit more insight on the various builds you used, maybe through additional editing. I would have loved to know why you uses such armor talismans or staves etc. Thanks !

I randomly stumbled upon this vid, great run btw, watched the whole thing. I also just beat Outer Wilds for the first time yesterday so I was really surprised to hear THE MUSIC at the very end
I have been trying to watch this challenge on your twitch VOD but i don't have much time and missed most of the stuff. Now i can finally watch the full version.
Don't you dare diss noble sorcerer, he helped me beat Margit on my first blind Playthrough when the game came out, I didnt know where to go to find upgrades or where to upgrade, I was completely lost and stumbled upon the noble sorcerer ashes while hopelessly wandering to find anything to give me an advantage and the noble sorcerer did more damage than me when I fought him so my strategy was to summon the sorcerer and then hold margits agro as much as possible and it worked
I had no idea about that guardian golem fight. Either I missed it in my own runs or I never saw you fight him before. Damn this game just keeps on giving
I loved the skeletons on my first place thru they were not super strong but they cause good stagger and the keep coming back if you take aggro off them when they die
I'm unsure if you knew this since I didn't see Caarman heal ever, but Caarman actually has one or two heals that he can use, which along side his self buff can make him a decent spirit

I gotta say….using the briars on Malenia and having it work really surprised me. I never used that spell, even on my mage. Might give it a try now

Reading the lore on the ahes helps maximize their use. Demihuman ashes for instance are better to summon at night.
