Very interesting video. I was born in Greenock in 1954 and lived in Port Glasgow until leaving to live and work in England in 1978. In 2015 we bought a Lunar Roadstar motorhome (2nd hand) and have visited my home area several times; last year in September, boy did it rain! We tend to use Strathclyde Country Park and Craigie Gardens, in Ayr, both Caravan and Motorhome Club sites to revisit my old favourite places, many you covered in this great video.

As a local it was interesting to hear what they thought of my home town. I love living in Greenock and sometimes we take all the beautiful views for granted.

Posted earlier on your Loch Lomond vid and then came across this and was calling stores in this area also when working for the same agency and that was last summer...over the Erskine into Dumbarton and down to Luss and Arrocher.

Thanks for the great video. Brought back a lot of memories as I grew up in Gourock forty years ago. I used to live on the waterfront not far from the swimming pool. There have been lots of changes since I lived there. Keep up the good work. Chris Turner.

Hi Andy, Great footage of my old town Gourock, you make it look livable but sadly it’s lost some of it’s glory due to lack of investment in the area but still a great place when the sun comes out.
    What drone are you using?

I moved here more than 20 years ago with my job. There's not much to Dunoon is there? Lol It's a gateway to other great locations though if you take the ferry it saves a lot of time driving round by road.
