    Should have splices that correctly with soldering and heat shrink. I also would have made my own quick connect fitting-so it would be plug and play. Other than that. Good info

      Soldering and heat shrink? Should I be worried about water inside the trunk ?

      Gen5Concepts anythings possible. But it would be more professional doing it that way. Those connections aren’t always the best. I dont like to use those.

      To each his own. Personally I've never had a single issue with one of these splices

      @robertlindsey7441 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gen5Concepts no worries. So how do you like that kicker? I just ordered one for my 11. Kinda hard spending that kinda $$ but from what ive read its worth it.

    • @TractionControlusa
      @TractionControlusa  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robertlindsey7441 personally I thought it was a bit pricey considering what else is out there. But it is a GM part number so I figured better for the life of the car. Personally I am completely satisfied with the amount of bass it makes. I sent need window shaking bass, I just felt the factory speakers were lacking bass. This kicker was more than I needed. 100% satisfied and never had an issue with it after installation

      It's a gm part. Specifically for the Camaro. You should be able to get it at any gm dealer. You can find them alittle cheaper online, like gmpartsdirect.com

    • @TractionControlusa
      @TractionControlusa  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Edwin Vasquez you can get them at any parts store such as auto zone. They are in the electrical isle. We call them taps or splice connectors.

    Is there a demo vid?

    • @TractionControlusa
      @TractionControlusa  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jack Teare I didn't make a demo video because most people watch TH-cam videos on mobile devices and they don't make much bass. I will say this. It makes enough bass to overwhelm the mids inside. I keep my bass around 50-60% on the equalizer just to keep things balanced. It makes more bass than any factory sub I've heard in any other car. Hope that helps

    Why would you that to a ZL1 first it has a good bose system second id rather listen to the exhaust. Also sounds like you need get some different songs with more bass i have a 6th gen lt just with the stock system about 20 is enough bass and i have a custom system in my truck that will shake you like no other it hits around 140 db so 20 in my camaro must be saying something

    • @gearheadjeff
      @gearheadjeff 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      His ZL1 doesn't have Bose, it has Boston Accoustic and it's not that great. All 5th gen Camaros with upgraded sound came with Boston Accoustic. Bose didn't come around until 2016 with the 6th gen. The kicker sub is a nice upgrade for the factory BA system that isn't that great.
