Nice, I got me a harbor freight wagon, 1000 lbs capacity for 60$ from yard sale. Works great to moving around a LS with trans. Even a Cummins motor with ease
Great video! I’m a welder of 17 years and I’m looking to build one of these in a few weeks. I’ll be teaching at risk youth the basic mechanic skills so I’ll have them working from one of these engine jigs. I’m also looking to build one for a re-end setup so I can teach them to do brakes as well. Salute
If you were to put some slightly larger box tubing on the side frame pieces before welding the frame together, then weld your uprights to those, the length would be adjustable to fit multiple engine/trans combinations. Would also be easy enough to make the uprights telescope, and the mount pad bolt on so other mounts could be swapped on.

Good idea, maybe on the next one. This is one I put together with parts I had laying around.
