The fact that any bike you choose to ride is equally good comes to show how great this game is. You can use the setup you feel most comfortable with and then it's a matter of gittin gud lol
Setup in my opinion is more about increasing consistancy and comfort on the bike than it is about dragging more peed out of it. Its nore to personalize the bike to your riding style. Definitely agree all the bikes are good though. The only meta i can think of is high direct lean for supercross. Edit: i am also a kawi enjoyer. Thing eats breaking bumps for breakfast and just tracks straight. I dont have the erode problem though. Maybe i just suck
Even though the suspension is a bit too jumpy, but i fucking love the Yamaha. It doesn't matter what gear or what part of the rev range you are, she's got the torque for you
250s are so light that a setup isn’t that important but will help a little but on 450s it definitely helps a lot and any bike can qualy if you are comfortable.
I love you Doc and understand your point, but having a decent setup is a complete gamechanger for me as a beginner. Went from lying in fetal position next to my bike to spinning 2 or 3 laps without a crash. Maybe it's just me, but setup definitely seems to help.
For me setups where important to learn the game and crash a little bit less, once i got better on it and found out how physics work without crashing soo much, default setups where easier to handle
Hey doc i am using your kx 250 oem set up and it doesnt really matter what bike i use but at the end of a turn the front tire seems to wash out on me halpens mostly on flat turns when i lean back and counter lean the corner any tips would be greatly appreciated is there any settings that help or should i be using a different tire like i said i copied your kx 250 build perfectly dont know why its happening
Experienced this for a little, just me leaning the bike over too far and too much speed for the front tire to handle. Just slightly bring the bike back up so there's not as much lean angle at the end of the corner while going just as fast. Tiny little adjustments. Idk if its the best way to do it but it works for me
I think setup *helps* up to a certain point of playing the game, but once you know how a bike works and get the feel of a bike on any setup, even default, it’ll rip. That’s why I just say pick a color bike you like and ride it a bit, this video is proof that theory works
Agree that you can quali on all bikes but setups definitely matter. I ran 1:46 one time after three hours grinding round 2 when it first came out on a stock husky (skill issue) but I bought my first setup ever to see if it’s a bunch of BS, ran that first lap on it and consistently after which sucks since I might’ve qualied for pros if I had the setup to begin with.
There has never been a meta I’ve been playing since 2019 not once have I used a setup besides controls n tire pressure I have 4000 hours and gapped literally everyone I’ve raced yet never got into the like actual pro races never cought my interest
@@cypherXiii so what you’re saying is it’s a skill issue on the users part…. The point of the video was to show that it isn’t the bikes fault you can’t qual….
@@cypherXiii i got 340 hours and was 2 seconds off qual. I know its a video game but its similar to irl when if a pro hops on an old 125 he'd still blow doors off at a local race.

POV: Doc changed the name of his setups on all the bikes to "default"
Lmao 🤣 got me

can you make a vid where you explain what every garage setting does?
yeah i got a ton of wallpapers on my feed too lmao

Now do this whole test again on the new OEMs! I'm genuinely curious.

W video doc! I gotta try some stock setups to see how I fair lmao! I can't get faster than a 210 on this track tho soooo, hahaha
How do i get your Honda
anyone got an extra bag of milk i can borrow?

Great video but you gotta think about how much time you have on this track I think it would be more fair to do na times atleast
Now try on the all 250 laps with setup
ïts like a tracktor, EUHEUEHEUHUEH". lmao

Bag of milk. I am canadian and I never heard that reference 😭
Me neither tbh, I was just yapping

yeah 100%
Is 2.06 bottom qual for 250 or 450?
250
i dont know if this is just me but i think the old TMs looked so much better, I used to main that bike and it was so fast
plot twist: he went into the files and edited all his paid setups to say "Default"
Lmao
It's honestly if you can learn to be consistent with whatever! As long as you don't front tuck.....
the meta is just being better than everyone

I feel the bikes are almost the same 😭
Everyone is using huskys and ktms arent doing it because the pros are riding them but just because they have the bikes irl imo
its all about good SAG
Stop it
@@REAPERDOC no can do sagmaster

W video doc
Take two people, one on Suzuki 250, one on KTM 250. Who's gonna win?
Allstar round 2 i belive a guy on a suzuki waxed everyone
Finn has waxed the pro class on zuki, kx, tm, Honda, ktm, husky. It ain’t the bike and that’s against the best of the best in the game
I meant to say two people with the same skill level
Matters a little when ur trash lol, switched from kawi 250 to the husky and gained a few seconds
People who use the bike brand they ride in real life
👇
third... nice video as always btw.
hehe haha
4th
Almost first
first
🤣 setup indeed matters and most of the bikes are slower
Idk how u can say that when i literally just ran a pro time on every 250 in the game im under 3 laps… ( not u tm )
hmm 5K hours already ran all those bike anyways ams are running the same times if not only 3 secs slower 🤣 i got 1300 hours cant quail
