I wish somebody in the community would make a video about how to properly make a setup and explain how each option affects the bike because I don't understand it at all
The only video I know of has been outdated for over a year, the worst part is the people who “know” just copy and paste what it says when you hover over the value change arrows and make you pay 20$ total BS!
if u want an "easy" beginner setup do: 45-50 direct lean, lean help off, sit help on (you can still toggle sit) and try to have all of your controller layout on buttons you're comfortable with and can easily remember, run this setup on forest and washington till you get decent then tweak direct lean up or down to your liking until you have a lap time and success rate your're confident with, if after all of that you're still having trouble i suggest turning lean help on but you have way better control with it off (in my personal opinion) also jack your fov up to 130 in dynamic cam settings and put your tilt to 0 and your pitch to like 30%, it'll feel more stable.. if after all this you still have trouble then @ me and ill hop on cord with you to try to further explain 👍👍
Been subscribed for a while and as someone who is almost 30 I thoroughly appreciate your ability to put knowledge out there and not litter it with a bunch of useless talk in between 😂
Nice, for sure the nuances to the game like this are the biggest factor. More important than the bike and the setup. 5:22 yea I've noticed if you downshift before the corner, let the engine brake slow you down for a split second, then start leaning into your corner. That back tire will push the front tire straight off and over the berm if you don't get that inertia slowed down and equalized. Yup I been using the 90 front tire to balance the fat 120.
the reason you have more front end traction cornering in a lower gear is because the added torque, it drives the front end down further into the dirt and the gyro effect of the engine moving faster makes the bike more laterally and vertically stable. there are tons of ways to fix the same problem. leaning a bit more forward when cornering would do it as well.
Thanks for the advice! I used your 250 yammy setup and it improved my game play drastically! I been using the 90 tire for a bit. The other ones don't like my style of braaaap! PLUP
@REAPERDOC negative I wasn't. I think my sensitivity is so high that I wasn't able to roll the sticks. Thank you guys for giving this old gamer something to work on!
@@shaunmink he's talking about the left-hand stick. I had to look it up cause I'm in the same boat, I use the outside wall, which means either hold the stick high or low and use it as a rocker. This helps with stability and since nothing is key bound to up and down on the left stick, that isn't affected
I have to tweak my fork setup to stop it a standard setup does it all the time but when I set up the front and rear it stops it most of the time unless you enter to fast
It’s better with this update. It makes more sense, same with real riding.. you have to angle your corner other wise BLOW the rut (which can’t happen in game) or pull a chase sexton and tuck the front lol
I know it might reduce my performance in certain corners, but i reduced my lean gain to 87% and it seems to eliminate bars touching the ground. At least on the CR250F. I am brand new though. Nobody should take my advice lol. I'm absolute trash at this game 😢
Oem tyres are broken for me since the update, can't ride any of the oems without crashing the game as tyres are question marks in the garage and same with factory tyres on all bikes except the factory bikes.

I’ll make one when I get back 🫡

My front tyre only has 80? How do I get other ones?

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO EXPLAIN THIS, THANK YOU DOC!!!!!!!
I lowered the fork height to get more pressure on the front wheel and it worked really well

Only reason I tuck the front is because the dude in front is faster than me and I think I’m better than I am 😂😂
I wish i could understand how the hell you guys are so smooth on the sticks.....when i move mine it feels twitchy as fuck!
You rolling your stick?
Like jonzey said roll ur stick forward
@REAPERDOC negative I wasn't. I think my sensitivity is so high that I wasn't able to roll the sticks. Thank you guys for giving this old gamer something to work on!
What do you mean by rolling your sticks. Sorry new to the game and don’t play on controller much

Thanks ;) these are good techniques but good suspension adjustment is also important I think. Do you have a setup to give ?
thanks dawk tuah
What HUD are you using? I like how its simple and does not cover the entire screen with useless info.
setting the offset a little higher also seems to help

Is there a sound mod on this yz in the video?
Good stuff Doc. Thank you!

Do you no a way to make my brakes stronger without me going over the handle bars
How do your fingers go so smooth cause mine are jerky from playing sim, so how do you train your hands to be smoother???
switch to stock setup and program double axis lean and weight.

Does any one know how to get the acerbies hand guards
OEM model swap. They're free on the "Project OEM" website.
Or "Dashpack" model swap pack on the mxb-mods website also has acerbies for some bikes.
I need to learn how to stop tucking my front tire in REAL life
What map is this
Even as a "pro" i was hyped to see this😂
"even as a "pro" 😂😂. sounds funny
Easier to ride a bike irl the washing out on this game is awful lol
