    I would install a sanwa JLF lever, an eight-way restrictor gate, a bat-top and hayabusa buttons into the 8BitDo Nintendo Switch arcade stick controller. The standard parts suck.

      Octagonal vs square gate is a matter of preference, I think, but yeah the rest you mentioned are good parts, fit for anyone who want to be more serious with fighting games.

    hello, is it easy to buy 2 theses sticks and play with friends on the pc without problems?

    Hi! I have just bought this arcade stick and I have some problems charging it. I did update it to 1.3 firmware on PC via usb and I'm still having issues with it. All the 4 red leds are on for 3 minutes and then they turn off indicating that the battery is fully charged. I connected the arcade to an extern battery but is also not charging. What should I do? Can anyone help me? Thx!

      Sorry my man, I haven't encountered that issue so I don't know how to fix it. Maybe a battery replacement might work but that's something I haven't really looked into.

    Just got this yesterday and would love to switch the stick out for a sanwa. Where do you get that 5 pin header thing? I tried searching for it in Shopee and Lazada. Lol. Very informative video btw.

    Thank you for this video! Very informative! I have been looking to buy my first arcade stick for my Nintendo Switch for a while now as I almost exclusively play arcade games (arcade archives, neogeo, arcade collections, etc). I watched a ton of videos and nobody seems to care about latency which I find appalling… I actually wanted to buy the Hori Rap V Hayabusa but I can’t seem to find it anywhere except from shady sellers on Amazon and ebay… I might have to settle for this one if I can’t get my hands on the Hori :(

    • @BimBurger
      @BimBurger  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it's because testing for latency is difficult. The method I use is comparative and not absolute so it is subject to a lot of error, but it's still a good gauge. Thank you for watching!

      No not really, I had it for mooonths before I even made the video. I took it apart a few times along the way just to tinker, too. It's pretty solid.

    Thanks for mentioning the size proportion when it’s on your lap, I always play with arcade sticks on my lap and didn’t even think about how it wouldn’t sit comfortably across both thighs

    • @BimBurger
      @BimBurger  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah not a lot of people take that into consideration, but it's a pretty big deal for sticks, I'd say. If it can't fit comfortably on your lap, it'll be an issue, especially if you travel with it to tournaments or casuals.

    It is good hear that you described a latency of this machine. No one described a input latency of this stick. Thanks for a good review! Im going to buy this stick. Design is one of my type and it has affordable input latency.

      Hello! I'm super glad you found the review helpful :) I should make sure to measure input lag on all my reviews from now on.

    • @BimBurger
      @BimBurger  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't really say. I think a lot of it is highly subjective. It depends on preference.

      Sanwa JLF stick and buttons are available in Shopee (try 3dsoj, where I bought mine - I'm not paid to say this). I modded the N30 (older version of this stick) and the Mayflash F500 v2. Sanwa usually works well with these types of sticks, and you can feel the difference.

    im new into arcade stick and plan to buy this one, i have a big hand too..does the lack of palm rest will be a major problem if i play for a long hour session?

    • @BimBurger
      @BimBurger  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really. You'll find that it rocks forward if you apply too much pressure with your palms, but you can get used to it. That said, if you've got really big hands, might wanna go for something beefier like a Hori RapN.

      Bale there are two ways. Yung less preferred ko is
      ➡️ 0.3s delay, ⬇️, ↘️+2. If you make the delay shorter than 0.3s, hindi na nababasa ni Tekken as neutral. Pero problem diyan, yung abante nung character is the same every single time.
      Better kung ⬇️, ↘️+2 lang tapos manually mo gagawin yung f, tsaka neutral. That way, you can control the forward direction of your character.

    When attached to a laptop can you map keyboard buttons to the arcade stick controller buttons? Looking to use this for my golf Sim

    • @BimBurger
      @BimBurger  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I think it'll be detected as a controller, assuming the game itself can be played with one. From there, you have to map the keys to specific buttons, much like you would a regular controller
