  • This is the second part of the big brake kit for the E34, this job has given me hell! What could go wrong, did go wrong but the end result is great brakes are 10x better (after I bled the brakes a second time) and have additional cooling so ideal for some track time!
    Parts used (if you want do it yourself)
    4x M12x1.5x55
    4x 10mm 30mm OD 12mm ID spacers
    OEM PN: 34106799805 pads
    OEM PN: 34116799465 left caliper
    OEM PN: 34116799466 right caliper
    OEM PN: 34116792223 discs
    you can reuse standard brake lines I opted for braided lines for better pedal feel and the old lines were in shoddy condition
    Thanks for watching!

    wish it woulb so easy on the e39s, stupid car has the only different centerbore to every other bmw, so we can't fit anything from other models, not even the wheels. That big brake looks awesome

      Might be easy enough the the calipers bolts line up just get someone to bore out the discs to match your hub diameter you could even do it with a die grinder as long as you’re careful 😂

    Hey man, you good? My question is, do you have 18inch rims on this video? Do you think or know if all this could go into a 17inch rim? into oem bbs rc 19. I am talling about the diametwr space (not betwen the iner face of the rim, in my case i have 16mm soacers).
    Or in case if you could gice me the mesurement betwen the center of the qheel hub until the end of the caliper would be super..

    Doing the same brake swap myself, did the spacer thickness end up being 7.5mm as you mentioned, or 10mm as in description? Cheers.

      10mm is the needed thickness, I’d suggest getting them made out of 6061 aluminium also

      Nice video , where did you get the caliper spacers and the caliper bolts

    • @CSAutoWorks
      @CSAutoWorks  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I made the spacers on a lathe and brought bolts to suit the required length

    What length of braided hoses did you use? Are they standard length e34 braided hoses?

    • @CSAutoWorks
      @CSAutoWorks  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used standard size braided lines for an e34 the length and fitting size are correct!

    Did you need wheel spacer?

    • @CSAutoWorks
      @CSAutoWorks  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For the wheels I’m running i needed like 3mm spacers but ran 12mm for better fitment in the arches
