For the Genesis version, it's actually Game Length, not Quarter Length (20 minute game length equals 5 minutes per quarter, 40 minute game length equals 10 minutes per quarter, and 60 minute game length equals 15 minutes per quarter). As for which version I prefer, I personally prefer the SNES version, mainly for the presentation (especially the cheerleaders on the pause and timeout screens).
EXCELLENT WORK BRO! As a kid, the snes version provided all of the eye candy and sound candy I needed to show off to my friends. Alas, deep down I knew that the genesis version had the superior controls .. Still to this day madden 94 is a classic on both consoles....I miss the good ol days!
Great video. You got this, brother. The SNES synth music at the beginning was a throw back. I used to have this game. I remember the AI would always catch up to you no matter how far ahead you got.
I far and away like the music on the genesis. Even though it's less real and more "midi". I feel it's more hype. Gameplay goes to genesis. Presentation snes, overall graphics and animation genesis. I think genesis excels in the most important departments. Little cool details are better in snes. Either way, can't go wrong. Final verdict for me...Genesis. plays much better
Yeah the sprites are better. Made some mistakes in the video like “Injury” but I remember spelling it right. I am going back to some old video that I deleted to correct stuff on this. But I remember not spelling injury wrong. Also called the 2 point after touch down, kick off. Never was a football fan. Didn’t know to much about it
phew they did the genesis bad accept for that lip on madden in the intro of the snes. i used camtasia to change the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 8:7 and it was still terrible lmao I'm making a spoof of it now cause it's so hilarious. also yea the genesis could do only so much with that sound chip the 2612 is amazing and with the FM + PSG combo saved a lot of space for the PCM samples on that 64k sound ram that why when used right the percussion and bass sounded bomb because of all that extra memory to use. unfortunately most non Japanese developers had no idea how to use all this because they didn't use the computers with the chips built into them. even the FM on DOS PC's where driven by a MIDI composition through OPL no trackers and before that a C64 with a SID chip and before that a TI-99 with a very basic PSG chip. Europe was a bit ahead of America in that regard but not by much but at least they had computers with sound chips just look at games by RARE at the time founded in England. but the snes had a ****** version of a MT32 rompler (Roland GM/GS didn't exist until 1991), so it was a you can bring your own instruments kind a ordeal and again in the right hands sounded great especially synths and melodies plus made it alot easier for american game companies, it's only drawback is the 64kb sound ram which is shared with PCM samples for bass/drums... for instance a mt32 instrument rom is 512kb and the CM-64 had 1MB half using pcm. thats alot of down sampling for the snes. but since both the snes and genesis have PCM channels they can both play audio from a cd in stereo as seen thanks to the rom hacking and emulation scene
All of the EA sports games played better on Genesis. The Snes was slow and sluggish

For me felt like the Sega Genesis version played better
Had to be that blast processing
Yeah and it felt slightly faster

Thank you.
I got a new video soon, with even better AI voices.

Would love the Genesis' sprites/animations in the SNES version.

best of both worlds
I preferred the Genesis version
Genesis versions always played wayyyy better. And I do remember him saying AMAZING just not sure if it was this one or 93.
This is dope! Great video 👏🏽
Thank you sir. I got more videos coming soon.
Games looked better on SNES, but played better on Genesis.
Both have strengths but Genesis wins gameplay. Weird SNES has better fields but snow is worthless.

Man you really know your stuff.
Cool 😎
Wonder why they just couldn't take the best of both
Yeah I guess you can’t have best of both worlds
Genesis had better Madden games
I like Sega Genesis i never liked SNES
Why are you using an AI voice? These are unbearable.
Because I don’t have a good voice.
you can't have a worse one than AI@@playnalisis
I got a new video coming with a better more advance voice. You will love it.,
