@@michaelhendricks9462I doubt boogs would last that long at all. Besides, best thing to do to get that ammo isn't to kill and pick up dropped loot like some sort of PUBG irl, but get manufacturing up and running asap, and establish control.

Ok, it’s funny that “the Correct Option” load out has a dual-bladed lightsaber and Sting (“it glows!”) as melee options. That’s some good self-depreciation.
Ammo would be damn near impossible to find, but extremely light 50 round smg mags and 30 round pistol mags that weigh almost nothing. Just stock up lol.
Statement: I'm a big fan of the 5.7, but here in America yeah it's not going to be a common round or easy to find or cheap to stock up. That being said though, the PS90 + FiveseveN is an excellent combo for not only sharing the same ammunition but neither are too heavy and both are great in close quarters, which makes it a compelling choice set for scavenging within crowded places. If you buy the blue dot ammo (which unless you're law enforcement or military you're not going to have access to green dot) the FiveseveN will not pierce soft body armor. It will pierce soft body armor when fired from the PS90, however. The ammo is light, and having 20 rounds in the FiveseveN and 50 rounds on tap in the PS90 is a compelling choice. I believe they also make 30 round mags for the pistol also, though I don't have any of those. The 5.7 round has almost all the advantages of firing a rifle round in a pistol size. Highly accurate, fast, and pretty powerful in a small package. The FiveseveN and PS90 are also extremely quiet when silenced, which makes it a compelling choice with stealth as a consideration. As long as you're not needing to reach out and touch a meatbag at long distance, this combo would serve very well for size and weight considerations as well as power and ammo capacity. Price point is another animal, however.

I was thinking about the cowboy combo too. A century of proven combat experience, not great range but short and maneuverable. Plus easy to reload for when you get down to that, why find ammo when you can make your own.
5.7 x 28 Your pistol and rifle take the same round, it is easy to carry 1,00o to 1,500 rounds, pistol mags are 20 or 30 the PS90 rifle is 50 rounds per mag and you can easily carry 12 magazines or 600 rounds loaded plus one mag in the rifle so 700 rounds, the pistol is the same you can easily carry 12 mags on a belt so 360 rounds then one in the pistol so 390 total. so in magazines you have 1,060 rounds!
The Cowboy: revolver in .38/.357, a lever action in .38/.357 The Practical: Pistol caliber AR that accepts Glock mags, Glock 17 The Sneaky One: Ruger 10/22, Ruger MKIII How about the "New York Reload"..?? the keltec RDB seems to fancy and expensive for Florida man, and the diamondback isn't standoffish enough. I'd say for primary a Remington 870, and for a secondary a keltec pf9
Bucky Barns in Florida people don’t really use Keltec shotguns. We mostly got people using pistol gripped mossberg 500, 510, and 590 and the fancy folk got remington 870s the old timers use double barreled shotguns and Ithaca model 37

The "ammo commonality" combo: ps90 and FiveseveN. Their melee weapon would probably be a katana or some shit. FN logo shirt, because fanboys.
I'd call that the Stargate combo. Accept no substitute for keeping Jaffa off your lawn during the boogaloo.
