13-20 seconds from fracture to airbag deployment? (hard to approximate given change in perspective/camera midway through video). It seems like the skier attempted to cut to the path's left flank first before deploying the airbag. I'd be curious to know if this was either (a) intentional, (b) it took time for the skier to fully register what was happening including the extent of the slide's width or (c) the skier had difficulty accessing and pulling the lever. Glad you're safe! Great video and thank you for sharing!

Looks like he was close to the edge and trying to get out might have been a better strategy, but a turn in the wrong direction brought him in the centre of the avalanche.

That slide started out looking quite tame and rapidly grew in power and mass as the slope angle changed. Good call skiing with a bag.

The lower section looked like a more relaxed and tame angle on that run, but then it starts to break free. wow. so glad you are ok.
