@@GrowwithBarath just search in google. Nifty 50 index la investing is good. Like Motilal or UTI , you can also invest in s&P 500 for US country. Its the safest. Even if you get 10 % percent returns its a large amount.
I am long term invester. Past 3 years i have investing in direct equity through SIP. 90% PSU STOCKS. INVESTED RS.12,35,000/- CURRENT VALUE IS 38,50,000/-
Dear Sir, Many channels teach about investment/saving impractical returns. But you are teaching more practical way. Really appreciate your efforts. Have recommended your channel to some of my friends as well. Kindly keep doing the good content as you provide so far. Love from Chennai😍
Bayangaramana content sir ❤ ithelam Kekka super aa erruku. Wish I had started long back.. yen sir TH-cam ku late aa vantheenga !!! Aanallum I’m happy at least now I started realized the power of compounding now after watching your channel. My kids are going to thank you a lot 🙏🙏🙏
Appreciate the channel/content. I would like to highlight one small thing in this video from a mathematical perspective. A monthly investment of 25K in a scheme with growth of 12% would give a return of 20,233 in year 1( not 36000) since you are not investing 3,00,000 right away but rather in increments. This carries on to other years as well. It is more like SIP vs Lumpsum.
True. The calculation assumes that the whole 3 lakhs was invested in the beginning of the year. End of the year would have made more sense. I kept it that way to make it easier to follow. Also, another thing to note is, as I mentioned in the video, the returns from equity index is not going to be the same every year. It depends on market performance. But I kept it constant to help understand the concept easier.
Thanks for sharing, many people talk about compounding... compounding... compounding, but where exactly we have to invest for compounding in practical?
Thanks for explaining clearly. Can you please make a video on how to conver MF and shares to NRI account while being abroad and how to convert it back after settling in India. With zerodha it is offline process and with Kuvera they used to say to close all existing and start new NRI account where we will loose old Investments. Will this conversion works in same way for OCI card holders also as they will renounce Indian citizenship? Thank you for your other explanations too.
Such an insightful video, thank you so much , I have a question- I am currently in the US , is that okay if I invest in US funds till I am being here and when moving to India (may be in another 5 to 6 years) can I sell the US funds and invest in India funds from then on ?
Nice video bro...got a new perspective about Compounding.....but the calculation you have given in the excel sheet seems to be not right....the growth you have given is for Lumsum amount and it won't match SIP ..... in the given calculation of 25000 rs SIP at 14 % returns , the 1st clone is created in the 5th year ....but in reality if we do SIP and get 14% returns , the first clone will actually be created in the 9th year..plz look into this and clarify
Hi sir, your doing great effort can you please suggest which index fund house is safe for an investor like uti,or nippon .waiting for your reply patiently
Sir, in your model it's assumed that you are investing previous year's savings as lump sum and it grows at 12% But even after 20 yrs the savings amount remains same, if you consider the effect of inflation and salary increments it may vary...
Vijay Sir, Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I have plan to invest in equity index fund but not sure which one I need to buy, Also which broker has to use this investment. I have one doubt. how to buy equity index stock every month as per monthly saving plan because if the stock price is 300 but I am investing 500 every month, in this case I can buy only one stock right?
You can do it thru SIP, where the fund house will take a fixed amount from your bank account and buy the fund. They can buy fractional units of funds, it does not have to be a whole unit. Watch this for Equity Portfolio: th-cam.com/video/KdCs3EWGJvQ/w-d-xo.html
Vijay Sir in this video you have mentioned what happens if we invest constant amount over a period of time but what happens if we increment/Step up our investment yearly with variable percent. How will the creation of clones reflect? Can you kindly explain?
Sir, Good info, one small thing in between you mentioned Shukra Dasa and went on.... With age I am learning all the things are happening based on that rather than anything that we do.... Just a thought...
அருமை, but Every Year 12% possible? Pls suggest where to invest. Kotak ESG Opportunities MF la last 2 years ah investment panrean.. But IRR 0.61% than and then unrealised p/l rs427 than.. UTI nifty index fund last six month ah invese panrean their growth rate 4.5% than.. where I am doing mistake or misunderstanding pls clarify ..
As I mentioned in the episode, equity market is not going to give constant 12% every year. But we can expect a long term growth rate of 10 to 12%. Watch this to understand it better: Risks in Index fund investing: th-cam.com/video/53I0X43PoWQ/w-d-xo.html
@vijay Mohan sir, small doubts clear pannunga please. If I planned some x amount in equity index fund means, that same x amount should be add as top up with existing invested amount in same folio with AMC we chosen right ?. Then only a clone will be possible ( for 5/6 years as same x amount as Lumpsum) as you stated? Maybe it's silly ques . Just to get clarified please 🙏
The example is shown as same asset. But it can be anything. But if you are targeting same growth rate, then it is better to invest in similar fund/asset that has similar growth rate. Just to be clear, the example in the episode is to help understand our growth potential. In reality, our returns will be very different every year.
