      Sir, I have the following basic questions....Can you please help by providing some insights?.... 1. what is difference between face value, book value, intrinsic value, Liquidation value and market cost?
      2. why is dividend declared as a percentage of face value?
      3. why is face value starts at 10 and then reduced to 5,2,1 as when they give bonus? why not face value is 100?

    I have also started savings with just 10% of my salary (3000 saved when I was earning 30K) by 2015. Year on Year I have improved, now I could save around 55% of my salary (55,000 of 1L) .. 😎😎
    2025 I'll make it to 65-70% 😊😊

    Excellent video sir, the one thing I can relate to is that when I started to track my expenses, I was shocked as to how much I am spending on things I don't necessarily use. OTT subscriptions are a classic example. Even though I don't have much time to indulge in OTT platforms, I was doing it anyway. Cancelled most of the subscriptions. I still struggle with needs vs wants dilemma while making decisions...I noticed I am getting better at it as I am tracking my expenses for the last six months..

      Nothing wrong with buying "wants". Just make sure that you are saving your target savings rate before buying "wants".
      Read this when you have time: collabfund.com/blog/everything-you-cant-have/
      It explains why it is not easy to get "happiness" from buying "wants".

      @@InvestmentInsightsTamil yes Vijay, but this time I thought I wud buy a bigger and better car as I luv driving, but when I see economists talking against it, I start doubting myself...Also God's grace I have also realised tht materialistic stuff hardly gives happiness in an early stage,though I might sound controversial here...but will surely go through ur link to get better insights,Thank U mate, stay blessed 💐

      If you love driving, go for it. Nothing wrong with spending on things that we love. Just that we do not want to repeat the same justification to buy all "Fancy" things in the world.
      I myself, love to watch movies in OLED and have a wonderful home theater system. I would not hesitate spending money on that. But at the same time, I do not really appreciate a fancy car like you. So I would not spend money on that. We are all different. As long as we are limiting our spending only on things we actually love, we are fine. My 2 cents. :)

    Q1 la na car loan vaangiruke athukku 6/% interest rate ku 10 lac vaangure. adutha Q2 la repco rate increase aaitu so, bank um interest rate increase pantranga. Appo naa Q1 la vaanguna amount ku 6% interest thaana illa antha interest change aaguma ? Or Q2 la varapora upcoming loans ku tha interest applicable aaguma?
    Next one is,
    retail Banks namma savings account la potruka amount ku savings interest 2.5% or above, below koduppanga. Antha interest fixed ah ? Illa indha rapco rate savings interest ah fluctuate pannuma. Appadi pannichina athu epdi nadakku thu nu explain pannunga please.

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. Interest change affects only the future payments. Not the past ones.
      2. It can go up or down depending on repo rate. Each bank is different in how they adjust their interest rates.

      Ok sir.
      1. First one cleared.
      2. Repco rate RBI increase panna... Bank kodukkura interest rate um athigamaagum. Appo bank namakku kodukkure savings rate um slightly increase aagum nu soltringa la sir.
      Another doubt sir.
      Money interest RBI control pantrang.
      Gold interest rate eppadi earuthu, earanguthu ? Global demand and supply porutha. Illa RBI regulate pantranga la ?

    Sir. I am a beginner in investment. I want to know few things in SIP.
    1) when we try to sell any index fund after 10 years, will buyer available at that time? Or if buyer is not available then how can we sell it for emergency purpose?
    2) Can we invest fluctuated amount like first month 5000, second month 7000 and third month again 2000 in consecutive months at SIP?
    3) Does this brokerage app is safe to invest? Which one do you prefer?

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      1. There will always be buyer. Equity market is very liquid. Not like Real Estate.
      2. That depends on how you have set up your SIP. Nothing stops you from buying more funds every month with extra cash. It does not have to go thru SIP.
      3. They are all SEBI registered. They are monitored for any fraudulent activities. You have to make the decision whether you trust SEBI or not. I would personally go with crowd favorites.
