what intrests me the most is the size of a wheel base could make converting older arcade game cabs to a PC setup as you could easy hide the base inside the cab and use an extension and put on the original arcade wheel.
@@citedcanvas85 With my new fanatec dd pro 8nm Forza is actually absolutely awesome and I come from ACC, which ACC is the best feeling racing game imho.
Was thinking of getting this but they took so long to come out in uk good thing is u can use the wheel in any moza base as chip is in wheel i got velocity race which im liking just need the rims moza got that covered unlike turtle beach hopefully we get more rims
Have you tried f1 23 on it? I know it doesn't say on the website, but I just want to ask cause maybe the list hasn't been updated, and does it work with steam fh5?
The wheel itself (not the base) is what is Xbox compatible so this can be used with other wheel bases with Xbox (r5 or r9 for instance) But the real thing that would be your first upgrade is the pedals as these are what's going to actually improve your performance. A stronger wheelbase will give better immersion but not really make you that much quicker. The pedals should be the first improvement. I would be interested to see what this is like with load cell pedal set? Also the outer wheel trim can be replaced with a GT/F1 style trim or even a bigger round trim for drifting/rally purposes which feel much better quality. And yes i know everyone is going to say by this time you may as well get a fanatec as the money you have now spent is probably equivalent to csl dd and some load cell pedals and they have much better pedals at the price range. But its not if you live in the UK :(. Fanatec charge a fortune for shipping and tax to the UK... Rip off Britain always :(
Hmm just realised mozas load cell pedals are all usb so they won’t work with Xbox. Something to bear in mind that it’s not an option going forward for now
Thats not true you can both connect directly to a PC with USB cable or connect MOZA pedals directly to a MOZA wheelbase with the included cable and still have XBOX support provided your using the XBOX ES wheel.
@@simracingden ahh right ok, i checked on Moza's website and the connection is USB only for load cell pedals, but the wheelbase doesn't have 2 USB ports. As the lite pedals use rj12? so thats the only option to connect pedals to the base of an R3 i thought as it only has 1 USB B port to connect to the Xbox and no other ports for USB pedals like SRP (non lite) and CRP's which use USB not rj12 like the lites do. Why you cant plug pedals directly to xbox like you do a PC i dont know, it has anough ports :/ But if im wrong thats great :D
@@simracingden I know, but the FAQ on the same page says every game with custom keybind support should work with peripherals, it’s confusing and I can’t find anybody anywhere that put that to the test.
here in my country the moza R3 is priced at 399 usd with wheel and pedals and the pxn v12 with wheel and pedals priced at 460 usd. planning to own one and pair it to a generic H pattern shifter. which do you think is the best buy for me clutch is a big factor. thank you
I am on Xbox and currently considering upgrading from a TM TX servo to this, do you think this is a worth while upgrade? I only really play F1 24 and just looking for something a little smoother that doesn’t lose FFB after a longer session that isn’t going to break the bank

“Feels arcady on Forza Horizon”. Thats because the game IS an arcade
Well yea that's what I meant.
@@f1ibraaa yeah forza aint great. I prefe the feeling on a proper sim like assetto corsa. I end up playing that the most so far.

1:51 *SR-P Lite Pedals, the SR-P Pedals use load cell

The shifter works in xbox series x?
good review! can you test the HGP shifter compatibility with different games on Xbox?👍
Will do! There is compatibility chart though on Moza’s website that list all the titles and their compatibility with shifters and handbrakes

If I get this, can I use the moza shifter/ handbrake on xbox?
Yes you can.
@simracingden thx👍

I don't have hands on experience with the PXN so hard for me to offer my advice. I would check out some reviews and go from there. Good luck!
You going to do a review on the turtle beach bundle?
If they send one to me I'll review it.

I think it would be a worthwhile upgrade to make the move too direct drive and maintain the Xbox compatibility.
@@simracingden perfect thank you 😁
I thought the wheels not compatible with f1 24?
No !
@@darkknight4260 believe it is now
So question
If I buy the r3 bundle and i buy the KS FSR or GS wheel will the wheel work with the r3 base?
Edit: also i play on pc
Yes but not on Xbox only PC
@@simracingden ok perfect wanted to use it on pc its cheaper than buying everything separately
Also have an Xbox so its a win win
Does anyone know how to update the software in pit house? and if I have to make an account to access it?
It should be under firmware updates and yes you need to make an account.
Ok thank you for your reply would I have to switch the wheel into pc mode to update?
Is it compatible with F1 23 on xbox?
Yes
i like your model cars, but perhaps you should upgrade to some R/C
I want one, but that is a rabbit hole I'm not prepared to go down 😂
