Nel Big Coil 17x15 Air test vs Stock Coil on AT Pro it´s a very useful video, the information is really good and clear. Thanks for the experiment my friend.
Metal detectors are pretty popular nowadays because if you know how to use them in the right places can make interesting discoveries. Nice presentation!
Pretty impressive depth on that big ole coil. I am debating on getting one myself. My concerns are the extra weight it would bring and how much time it would take digging up a 20" deep hole. Soft soil might not be bad but in the woods that could take quite a while with all the roots. I'll be watching your field videos and see how well it handles out there. Thanks for sharing and good luck with it.
I didn't pay to much attention to this, but now after I saw your video I will pay a lot more attention, since 5-6 inches deeper can bring you fortune. I'm looking forward to see your underground test.
What are some of the cons of the NEL Big coil? Is the distinction between "junk metal" and something of value still there or is any of that lost with a larger coil?
Difference in signals are no different, all the same numbers, but it takes some getting used to pinpointing, I ended up digger some mahusive holes. It's really a quite field machine you want to get that extra depth
great video.i have big nel 17x15 in garrett ace 150 sens 3.if go to 4 sensiv foul all time bep .if buy 250 or 350 garrett is beter i thing.i dont know if have coil problem or 150 is so simple to take this coil.and is waterproof i thing.feel kiss from greece my friend ans sorry for my english.

This video is a good and clear introduction and presentation of the scientific test.
This demonstration to optimize the operation of metal detectors is very interesting.

Nel Big coil met all expectations. Large, stable, deep.
That will make a big diff on the pastures, wont go as deep in real but will be deeper then the standard,
All the best

Very interesting. It really was so much better than the stock one, is it expensive?

Interesting that the system uses to test the coins. I'll try!
Pretty impressive depths on both coils!
It is quite a deep machine.i think so
you will need a jcb to dig for that coil lol, excellent vid though, have you got a nel snake i'm curiouse as to what the results are for that.
Yet, i constantly read of people saying big coils don't work well on small items as good as smaller coils. 🧐🤔
