You are so right! The people of jamaica don't care if the government is not working for them. They just want their political party in power. Nothing goes like that. The Hospitals are in terrible condition. The Health Minister need to be fired. Does he tour these these Hospital.

SHET YUH ASS, It’s the BEST THE HEALTH SERVICE EVER BE IN JAMAICA, IF THE PREVIOUS GOVERNMENT HAD DONE ANYTHING TO THE HEALTH SYSTEM, ALL THISE 181/2 YEARS THEY WERE THE GOVERNMENT, IT WOULD BE BETTER, THIS GOVERNMENT IS BUILDING HOSPITALS , REPAIR HEALTH CENTRES ETC. WUNNU TOO DAMN BLASTED.
So true, Donna. The things you spoke about need to be addressed ASAP when minimum wage is 15000 per week that's 60000 per month, light bill is 12000, rent is 30000, water is 7000, internet bill is 8000 that's 57000 your left now with 3000 what can that do so basic food you can't afford if your sick you have to suffer with pain hours to see a doctor, you can't send your kids to school and nothing for you to go back to work it's devastating how Jamaicans are treated and feel like it's okay.
Let me ask you something, if you hire someone how much would you pay them? If the minimum wage wages goes to what everyone wants, how would the Employers pay? They have to nothings, pay rent , light bills, Water bills, pay Staff, pay back loans with interest, plus make a profit, then when they lay off people WUNNU same one blame Government saying g he cause people to get laid off.

Seriously Donna I must say I fully endorse your appeal to the government to do better as it relates to our health and school system. However, the question of asking or comparing Canada and the USA with Jamaica is irrelevant because those are 1st world countries with more resources and all. I think it would be better you compare with other Caribbean countries and I am sure that it might surprise us that we are doing way better.
Love the topic though. The reality is a lot of who run off go away and comply with taxes, rent and every other thing while they live free here. Some of us the citizen destroy our own health and education system. We are lawless and selfish.

I know a lady that died because of the same kidney dialysis look at the sign they made in Negril that they claim cost millions that could a spend on education OR health care

In the ward at KPH i saw some patients on the naked mattress restrained so going their you have your own bed linens toiletries and bedwears

So true, them need to renovate the hospital and about the ac, think they should get solar energy or other renewable energy for that, cause when jps done.
