Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the Israeli military plans to shift its focus to Lebanon, from where attacks on Israel by Hezbollah have escalated in recent months. “The Lebanon-Israel border is more dangerous than ever because of the capabilities that Hezbollah has,” says Palestinian American journalist Rami Khouri. He explains how the balance of power has shifted in the region, but warns of the potentially “devastating” effects of a full-scale war in Lebanon. Khouri adds, “We’ve passed the point where Israel and the U.S. dominate the strategic realities, military realities, in the Middle East.”

In its final report S/1994/674, the same Commission described ethnic cleansing as “… a purposeful policy designed by one ethnic or religious group to remove by violent and terror-inspiring means the civilian population of another ethnic or religious group from certain geographic areas.”
The Commission of Experts also stated that the coercive practices used to remove the civilian population can include: murder, torture, arbitrary arrest and detention, extrajudicial executions, rape and sexual assaults, severe physical injury to civilians, confinement of civilian population in ghetto areas, forcible removal, displacement and deportation of civilian population, deliberate military attacks or threats of attacks on civilians and civilian areas, use of civilians as human shields, destruction of property, robbery of personal property, attacks on hospitals, medical personnel, and locations with the Red Cross/Red Crescent emblem, among others.
The Commission of Experts added that these practices can “… constitute crimes against humanity and can be assimilated to specific war crimes. (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated
to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
The definition of Genocide is made up of two elements, the physical element - the acts committed; and the mental element - the intent. Intent is the most difficult element to determine. To constitute genocide, there must be a proven intent on the part of perpetrators to physically destroy a national, ethnical, racial or religious group. Cultural destruction does not suffice, nor does an intention to simply disperse a group, though this may constitute a crime against humanity as set out in the Rome Statute. It is this special intent, or dolus specialis, that makes the crime of genocide so unique.
To constitute genocide, it also needs to be established that the victims are deliberately targeted - not randomly - because of their real or perceived membership of one of the four groups protected under the Convention. This means that the target of destruction must be the group, as such, or even a part of it, but not its members as individuals.

Most media have forgotten that the initial peace deal negotiated by Egypt and Qatar included a peace arrangement with Hezbollah. Hamas agreed to the deal, but Israel refused because it required a withdrawal of all IDF troops in phase three of the three part deal.
So, Biden took out the IDF withdrawal clause, made a few other minor changes and presented the deal as an Israeli proposal. Netanyahu responded that this was not their proposal and their war goals hadn't changed.
Now that Bibi has rejected the deal, he's made it clear that he will not make any independent cease fire with Hezbollah. So, the only path left is escalation and war, with the expectation that Iran will be drawn in, which will trigger an American response. It's all laid out there but Biden's people are either too stupid or too complicit to avoid a war.

You see … the reason why “I” is the only democracy in the Middle East is not because they operate well with surrounding countries, it’s because they have fair elections. The people in a democracy can influence the decision of their governments, and public opinion matters. In many otherwise dictatorships, both outside and inside the arab world, public opinion does not matter. In fact, demonstrations are not even allowed, imprisonments happen without a cause. At times makes it feel as if these don’t have issues but their issues are way worse in terms of corruption, just no one can talk about it.
The next terrible matter is even worse than the former. It is suppression of minority rights in many countries. These people are imprisoned not only by government but by an entire society they live in. In Arab countries, there are many radical ideas which imprison many minorities, yet to my point, no one talks about, even though violates human right every day.
To sum it up, violation of human rights are occurring across the board. People seem take ability to speak in democracy as an empowerment to expose corruption, but the same people dare not to speak of corruption in their countries or against the majority which may suppress minorities rights, which they themselves may be part of. Start generalizing freedom, and lets not be selective of which groups should receive it
