- Waylon Jennings Son Reveals The DARK Truth
Waylon Jennings was an influential American country music singer, songwriter, and musician. He was born on June 15, 1937, in Littlefield, Texas, and passed away on February 13, 2002. Jennings is best known for his role in the Outlaw Country movement, which sought to challenge the polished Nashville sound of the 1960s and 1970s.
Still listening and a big fan of Mr.Waylon Jennings in 2024 and beyond! Was first introduced to his music when I was a young boy of about 9, to 10 years old.
R.I.P. Mr. Waylon "Chief" "Hoss" "Watasha" "Waymore" Jennings.
My dad loved Waylon. He crossed paths with him a few times over the years… last time in an airport (St. Louis?). He always took time to talk a few minutes with my dad. My dad and mom took us to see him at Crawfordsville High School in Crawfordsville, Indiana where my parents still live today. That was on May. 6, 1969. I was 6 yrs old. My sister named her son after him.
I still listen to him today… as does my family. THAT VOICE. Love you WAYLON! Thank you for touching our hearts with your song.
That's what you call a true legend!!!
One of the greatest country music has to offer...
