Sucks, i just got off the phone with a lifan rep at American lifan and according to him the tech's say the engine has to come out to do a valve adjustment. Its not the end of the world. Gives me excuse to change the chain and go over everything over the winter 🤷🏽♂️
Wikipedia: The GY6 engine design is a four-stroke single-cylinder in a near horizontal orientation that is used on a number of small motorcycles or scooters made in Taiwan, China, and other southeast Asian countries. It is believed to have originally been a Honda design. At some stage Honda used Kymco, a Taiwanese company, as a factory for Honda bikes. It has since become a generic technology. Kymco went on to produce Honda clones such as the Pulsar (CB125), made to Honda standards, as part of their range.
This should have been done at 1,000 km or 600 miles.. you probably want to add a note to watch the video you posted 2 months later where you were fishing out parts from what you did here.
Perfect, I'm doing mine soon. Thanks for all the KP videos dude.
If you have any ideas of what you or other people would want done on the bike please let me know :)
What’s the specs?
What where the valve lash adjustment numbers for the mini sir?

This is why I got the Condor
it looks like you didnt have to take the tank off to do this...
its like 80% easier if you do (I learned later on)
Is there a service/ repair manual available for the kp mini 150 ?? Where do you get the specs/ settings information from ?
I’m having the same problem. I just put a new carb on and filter. How did you know where to adjust it to. I can’t find any specs
Where did you get the gasket
Is this a roller rocker head like the 2006 and on honda crf150
I know it’s a clone of a CB150 Honda motor does that help ?
Hey, I believe I have an oil leak.. I have to replace oil every few hundred miles. Didn't you say you had this issue as well?
We are not the only ones. The shift sensor o-ring leaks- I had to replace it with a slightly thicker one
@@SmallEngineVelocity Good thing I work for a seal company lol. Thanks I'll replace it.
What is the motor cloned after? Is it a GY6?
It's not a clone

Hey I have a kp mini 150 and it’s not picking up speed I’m not sure what to do can you help ?
Is the intake a .08 or .008
I think it’s .008 in , I don’t remember off hand
According to lifan america its 0.06mm for intake and exhaust
Do you have a link for the adjustable screws. I script mine trying to adjust the valves
Please lower the music volume. Besides being somewhat annoying, It competes with your narration...
Yea I agree , I’m improved a bit in the edit process since. Thanks for watching and pointing it out :)
I thought it was a pain doing a valve adjustment on my old 2018 taotao pony 50.
I would just take the engine out at that point. Easier to work less cuss words
I've heard good things about Life's. But, geez, you can't remove the valve cover without pulling the engine? No thanks.
I learned later you can drop the motor a little by removing the front lower motor mount bolts. Wish I kew that back then
I think it’s on the owners manual
