    I keep hearing SIBO and inflammation- but how can we eat an anti-Inflammatory diet if all those foods are high Fodmap? I’m so overwhelmed because it’s like all the foods that heal your gut I’m not allowed to eat while I have SIBO? I’m at my wits end.

      polyphenols have some anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties. i am about to try adding chokeberry (aronia) powder to my elemental shakes, as this berry has one of the highest amounts of polyphenols. there’s no information online regarding its FODMAP or histamine content. but im all screwed up with autoimmune disease so im willing to risk it. im also suspecting autoimmune gastroparesis. (once you have one autoimmune disease, you are likely to collect others). so many of my test results point to crazy levels of inflammation, including the bacteria mentioned in the video. i’ll let you know how the aronia berry works in 2 weeks, please respond to the comment so i get notified 💗

      Look into carnivore! I just discovered today so many people said it healed them! Not just with sibo but tons of other stuff! I definitely want to try it but i never liked meat 😆 but after 30 years of suffering, I am going to try it! It’s recommended to take “real salt” by redmond??? For electrolytes ... please look into it first (youtube has many videos)

    pelvic adhesions ????
    i suffer from that, and i’ve been wondering if these bugs effect the prostate because had/have SIBO & SIFO & CANDIDA.
    my thought is that CANDIDA is causing my pelvic pain/discomfort because it’s the only test aside from SIBO where the results are elevated.
    these bugs and fungi seem to take over parts of the body and irritate the tissue.
    they also seem to change places, travel, run from other bugs, take over different territory, call it what you want but i feel pain, discomfort, itching, that happens whoever it wants with no provocation on my part. they fight with each other and we feel the pain. this is what goes they my head when i feel these different symptoms in different places.
    these bugs have lived in earth since the beginning of time, now that we are here, they are trying to eat us.
    i’m being serious.
    we make a good eatable host for them.
    i don’t think we can get rid of them, not rid them from our bodies anyway.
    it’s our fault for feeding them this sugary diet for the past 75 years.
    i’m sick of being sick.
    now what do we do ???

    I was happy and healthy with great digestion. One day I accidentally took an overdose of anti-inflammatories and was put on PPIs for 6-7 weeks. • @brothercaleb
      @brothercaleb ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely. PPIs are the cause of your digestive dysfunction.
      PPIs counter gastric acid production which has a cascade effect down the GI tract… and has a direct correlation to microbe imbalance. This leads to symptoms like, constipation, slow motility, gas, etc. The most likelihood of developing SIBO should be clear at this point. This is because the first line of defence-stomach acid production-has been compromised. As a consequence, all sorts of opportunistic bugs have a chance to proliferate, especially in areas where they shouldn’t.
      PPIs are probably ok for a week or two as a way to address an underlying issue, but not longer. It’s important to get off them ASAP!

    • @brothercaleb
      @brothercaleb ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I took PPIs for over a year, they destroyed my gut and caused all kinds of digestive ills known to man. From constipation, to diarrhoea, bloating, flatulence, food sensitivities, leaky gut, enzymes and bile deficiencies. And lost a tonne of weight, for my troubles.
      Fortunately, I discovered Betaine HCL, a supplement which help kill off bugs and also help digest food, especially protein in the stomach… apparently it also helps the stomach start producing acid again. In addition, I also use broad spectrum enzymes to help break down food for easy assimilation. Another supplement which I consider, a wild card, is Ox Bile-sometimes referred to as, Bile salts. It reduces constipation by helping move the food down the intestines (this is on the assumption that low acid affects the flow of bile from gallbladder -causing it to become sluggish). But the main function is to emulsify fats-essentially break down fats-and kill off bugs that have somehow escaped the stomach acid.
      Recommendations:
      - first and foremost: do a RESEARCH on All the supplements I’ve mentioned and their use
      - do intermittent fasting-instead of 3 meals a day, do 2 meals, and DO NOT go to bed on full stomach (leave 4 or more hrs after last meal)
      - take Betaine HCL with every meal (look up on how to titrate up to get to your level of tolerance)
      - you also want to add digestive enzymes and Ox Bile to support pancreas and gallbladder to maximise digestion and absorption.
      - most practitioners recommend lowering your carbohydrates to help balance some bugs from proliferating.
      - when ready, start with Betaine HCL with each meal
      I hope this helps.

    After years & years of suffering from methane SIBO & doing all the diets & antimicrobials which inevitably failed I progressively eliminated so many foods I ended up carnivore & destroyed my gut. I'm finally awake to the fact that strict diets are a disaster & in my case it's slow motility at the root of the whole problem. I'm taking some of the supplements you use in your practise & starting to reintroduce real food & some fibre - slowly. I'm at the beginning of the journey but feel so much happier to be eating food again in an effort to heal my gut which I now believe is the first step to sorting the Sibo. Thank you so much for you help thru these videos

      Eating meat only, doesn't destroy your gut. Lots of sibo sufferers have cured their sibo just by being on a meat only diet. Might not work for everyone because some people might have other gut issues they're not even aware of. But to say that you destroyed your gut because of the carnivore diet is simply not true.

      Doing really really well. I began suffering terribly from histamine intolerance, probably exacerbated by the carnivore diet. Stopped being food phobic & slowly began introducing a wide variety of veg, fruit, grains, a bit of dairy, keeping a food diary. My gut motility is 100% improved, (not perfect but way better & it's still early days) not suffering the SIBO bloat even with the classic IBS type veg to avoid. Buy fresh as possible, cook everything myself, no junk or fast food. Even eating some sugar without ill effects. Putting on weight but it's a small price to pay. @@OGAesthetics

      Oh boy, I really tried everything& I mean everything. From prescription meds to herbals & supplements, fibre - natural & supplements, all the sibo & ibs diets, low fodmap, elimination diets, no dairy, no whatever...,low carb, probiotics, prebiotics, fermented foods - honestly you name it. Some did nothing, some made things worse or made me sicker, all tried over months not just 5 minutes. In the end I stopped being afraid of food & saw it as my friend. Kept a diary of what went in & how I reacted as well as what came out. Started to eat as wide a variety of foods as possible & as fresh as possible, prepared by me so I can tell what is really causing any reactions. As for motility - magnesium was my answer. Oxide or Citrate only because any excess is excreted when you reach your level of maximum dose so isn't toxic. Started with 400mg/day & added upwards every 3rd day until things started moving. For me about 1200mg a day keeps things rolling. I have read that benfotiamine can be a great help but it made me really sick. I hope you find the answer for you. God bless. @@aurorab6553

    So having a hard time finding root cause, since I’m not healing. I thought it was too many antacids when I was stressed. I took nexium for a week and had horrible pain. But since my xaifaxan round and two herbal rounds I’ve been taking digestive enzymes and HCL. Trying to rebuild acid. And here I am 6mnths later bloated as hell 😞 idk what else to do I wanna give up. I have high antibodies for thyroid but nothing that needs meds apparently according to my endocrinologist. So I’m lost. Never in my life did I have this problem. I could eat anything and was always pretty healthy. I see all kinds of people eat junk or drink and do whatever and they don’t have this issue. • @ByronHerbalist
      @ByronHerbalist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      10ppm is pretty mild methane production. If you are constipated and bloated then I might recommend treating it directly. With the endometriosis I would focus on leaky gut treatments, lowering the pro inflammatory bacteria in the gut and possibly rebalancing the vaginal microbiome too.

She also had a gut microbiome test which showed very methanobrevibactor smithii at 12.5, high Ruminococcus torque and bromi and high staphylococcus aureus, high fusobacterium nucleation, high akkermansia muciniphila and low bifidobacterium spp., low coprococcus eutactus, low roseburia homini, low subdoligranulum variable, low bilophilia wadsworthia, low veillonella spp, low bacteriodes dorei and ovalus and high bacteriodes thetaiotaomicron. She has been recommended to take Invivo prebio PHGG, neem, allicin, berberine and toxaprevent medi pure capsules as well as hci pepsin. Having watched your excellent videos she ate a clove of garlic minced and had no bloating. I wondered what your thoughts on these recommendations were?
