    Very infiormative and the first video I have seen to date explaining symtomatic differences between methane and hydrogen dominant SIBO. As always I am amazed by helpful doctors are online and how little that is reflected with doctors in surgeries who have no time to give this kind of advice and are frankly not much interested in what they consider to be minor illnesses. One docto actually rsaid to me straight "stomach disorder? most of my patients have more serious things to be worried about you know, like cancer." I still think that most people who talk about health are hugely over optimistic about the level of health care around the world. I have suffered from stomach disorders for over 30 years now the last 20 years of my life has been mroe or les spersistent watery stool or outright diorrhea and no doctor health practitioner or dietician I have gone to see has really helped or even been very interested. Practically all the improvement I have experienced has been the last 15 years thanks to what I have learned from the internet. It began 15 years ago with a Doctor Mercola talking about gluten. At the time I had not even heard of gluten.

    Thank you! I have low methane, high hydrogen, BUT my motility is super slow. I take the artichoke and ginger extracts and move daily but am still very delayed. Why are my symptoms more in line with methane despite the testing showing the opposite?

    • @ByronHerbalist
      @ByronHerbalist  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Slow motility can be a major root cause for hydrogen SIBO too. If you’ve had food poisoning before that may have been the root cause!

    Hi Byron. Great video, I just subsribed to the channel. I think I have PI-IBS (D) after a course of antibiotics. Things did not improve even after taking normal broad specru probiotis and now I think I have Hydrogen SIBO (mild). I do not have man classic symptoms yet, but the occasional loose stool along with delayed apetite are two issues that is persistant. Do you think the herbal tannins route is better for me to take or should I go down the alkaloid path directly? I should mention that the only probiotic capsule I take is S.Boulardii (Florastor)

    BIG question, please: my wife suffers because of bloating, life is miserable. She does not get diarrhea that bad. in the morning her stomach gets flat like nothing happened, and in the evening disastrous bloating again. The very worst is when the weather is humid ( we moved out of Florida for that reason). She removed her ovary and uterus because of the suffering thinking she has OHSS, and bloating is a sign of it, the doctor want to help my wife and finally agreed on surgery, she did it last month.
