I'm 32 years old. I wrote the book on sin. I fought for 32 years everybody all the time. About month ago I was laying in the bed and God started talking to me, boy your going to he'll if you don't change your ways. I got to shaking and crying and just didn't know what to do. I went and talked to my mama. She gave me the Bible and calmness came over me like never before. I'm following God now. I was listening to song other night called Thanks to Calvary, and bill's sermon about best for last was in list below and I listened to it and I'm listening to anything I can find by him. He had to have been an amazing man. Thank you
For those that don't know....the preacher sitting to the left of Bro Kelly (to his right) in the rocking chair is the campmeeting preacher in the movie "Sheffey". His name is Walter Burrell.
There is one thing about Rev. Billy Kelly that the others of the human race can identify and relate to, and that is that he is not so "heavenly minded" that he is of no earthly benefit to those around himself!
the movie was not about moonshine. the movie is Sheffy (1977). its about the life of a old time campmeeting preacher Robert Sheffy. Billy Kelly had a role in the movie as a moonshiner.
JesusIsLord, please educate yourself about the movie. Billy played the moonshine part well, because he USED to BE a shiner. He lived a rough life before he gave his life to God. The movie was a CHRISTIAN movie made by a Christian College, B.J.U.
You obviously never actually watched the movie, but would rather speak in ignorance to attempt to defame a man of God. Wonder how you'd feel if someone did the same to you?
