I remember the land of the sky jubilee that Billy Kelly led in singing back in 70s 80s and 90s those were the greatest times of my life. Dr. Ralph sexton was the pastor of trinity Baptist church where the great jubilee was held. Both men are now with Jesus. Can't wait to get there. 8:30
I was raised, from the time my parents got saved when I was little, hearing Bro. Kelly preaching and singing. I miss that there are No (or hardly a handful) of men of God like this. My Dad loved him so much and I just realized listening to vol. 1 and this one that all his favorite songs were songs Bro Kelly sung. The first time I heard Bro Kelly was at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia pastored by Bro. Rodney Bell. I was 8. We drove from Suffolk many times that week. I remember a long haired hippie went forward and got saved. We went back the next night and the pastor introduced this clean cut man. It was that hippie. Nobody had told him he needed to clean up. God had cleaned him from the inside out. He was transformed by The Transformer. He was saved by The Saviour. He was redeemed by the Redeemer. Hlallelujah. I would like to see true Salvation like this again before I leave this earth. I have seen a few.
