She still refused to answer the question. No matter what is asked. She goes around the question. She should be held accountable for letting these people out on bond.
She actually did. What people do not understand is this man motioned for his speedy trial and it as about to expire causing his case to be dropped. For 2 years his case was on going and his bond was denied but he then motioned for a speedy trial and they did not honor it in time. By keeping him locked up it would have expired but by releasing him it extends the speedy trial period. So in reality she had no choice otherwise this man would have his original charges dropped and be free. Cruz should know this its the 6th amendment of the U.S. Constitution and state law. I had similar happen in Illinois about 20 years ago and they released me with only 3 days left on my speedy trial allowing for an extension. If they kept me in jail I would have had the entire case dropped. Granted mine was petty compared to this man but the law is the law. Blame the DA for not presenting this to the judge in time

This judge is a cold hearted calculating individual with no concern for public safety. No doubt her concern with strict compliance with the law and how it would effect her political future came to bear in this case. Judges are supposed to make Judgements based on common sense. If someone's accused of executing someone, how the hell do they get bail ?
the murderer was not granted bond. The state failed to get there case together in a timely manner which violates the 6th ammendment which is the right to a speedy trial , so violation of that constitutional right would be Reason enough to dismiss the case or in this case she grantee bond
