This is my least favorite Sigma Force book, too. Always has been. I can’t think of another one I actively dislike beyond this one. I mean, I’ll still reread it when I’m going through the series, but definitely not comparable to the others.

I get where you’re coming from of why are we making these chicks super hot above what they’re doing. On the other hand, it’s kind of nice to go against the grain where folks assume a woman went into a field that requires intelligence because they are unattractive so they went into an area where their looks won’t be frowned upon as opposed to something more social where physical appearance is more judged. It would’ve been better to mix it up and have gorgeous and average or kind of more cliche frumpy but still intelligent and talented.
