Once you read one you almost love them all. The Eye of God had me dreaming about it but 6th extinction included the Library of Alexandria if there were a Sigma Force animation i would lose it. Honestly the author includes vivid imagination so books I don’t mind I just want more people to grasp on and join the book club lol

I'm curious what you will think of Mountain in the Sea. I'm currently audiobooking it and it's got all the great aspects of a sci-fi/fantasy with world building, different viewpoints that will probably come together at the end, fun fake science stuff but then it's about octopuses... which I think are hilarious... so it's all tense and murder-y and then it's like "surprise, it's an octopus" and it takes me right out of the story.

I think if you like the more sci-fi side of this, you’d love the Joe Ledger books by Jonathan Maberry. I own physical copies/he’s one of my auto-buy authors. Audio is not my preferred method, but his narrator is my favorite narrator, so I recommend the audio as well. Would be a good time to begin too, as they just announced they’re adapting it for tv. I like all of his stuff, but if you’re into fantasy, he just completed a trilogy. He’s pretty prolific, particularly in terms of jumping around different genres.

I LOVED Marco!!! He’s so adorable with his stubborn “whatever human” bits. Tucker definitely got lucky cause of the puppy and I can’t even say anything cause…fluffy puppy 😍😂 I loved all the action, but it definitely didn’t feel as science/history heavy as usual. Grey and Seichan were an unplanned baby if I remember right. I like that she says the taboo bits out loud, namely you’re not supposed to acknowledge much less miss your pre-child life as a woman and she very openly does. But yes, they need to be taking turns cause I definitely can’t see either of them fully stepping back from Sigma to be a stay at home parent, but neither wants to risk their child losing both their parents either cause they’re adventuring together. I feel like Seichan still thinks she’s a terrible mother so it’d be ok for Jack to lose her so long as he still has his father. If I remember correctly, there was a continuation error. I could have sworn Kowalski and Maria broke up a few books ago. The deaths by plant were just so good!! That’s so amazing you got to meet him!! Every time I think I can finally check that off the bucket list, he’s too far away and I have no vacation time. Next book 🤞 How was the concert?? You looked so cute all done up for it!

I listened to a sample of the first book of tha sanguine series and it seems like classic James Rollins archeological/historical mystery but instead of being restrained by science it has a “paranormal” event in the shape of an ancient curse of sorts I’ll definitely be reading it! Favorite standalone would have to be Amazonia.

At the moment I read "Altar Of Eden". Fiction of the events are well-designed. At some points you stop reading and ask yourself "Are these possible?". His books are also good source for english learners.
