Last Ninja (C64) Speedrun in

Last Ninja is the first game I have a distinctive memory of seeing, and even now it is the only game across all platforms from then to now, I was scared to play. I remember times I wanted to play it but was too afraid of the dungeon level and its music, and chose some other game.
Eventually I decided to memorize the quickest path through the level so I wouldn't have to spend any extra time in that subterranean nightmare. But even then there was a kind of tense anticipation for the level and a sigh of relief when passing it.
This game is an absolute classic, and surprisingly tricky and unforgiving game to speedrun. Under 15 minutes was relatively easy, but under 14 minutes is a completely different ballpark.

LMAO used to love this game when i was a kid nearly hyperventilated when i found there was a Ninja 2 on a random copied tape i had lmao. being a kid, no job worries, no mortgage no responsibilities. smashing out the Last Ninja , was heaven . cheers for the vid brought back some great memories. imagine if some one made a VR virgin of this woop lol

Wow, I didn't know about that bottom pathway glitch coming back at the sea monster on level 3! And you didn't bother breaking a single skeleton on level 4! :D

I knew that you could walk along the bottom line, but I only thought you could do it if you jumped from the first stone. Not from land.

recently I am wathing speedrun of Ultima 8 Pagan, and it reminds me of last ninja (when the avator is jumping between stones to cross a river). So here I am. :)

This game was such bs. I spent hours on this game then gave up because I couldn't get past the dragon. Who knew it was all about "where you stood" to throw the smoke bombs.

What is the point in picking up the hand and the claw? I didn't see you use them anywhere.

Claw is for the cliff faces and the glove is for picking up the rose.

Classic game but they should remake it where you can't just run past every enemy. So silly.
