Watching in my Nokia 8.1. Absolutely fantastic Device. I don't know what happened with his camera but i don't have any issues with Bokhe mod. Getting stunning output from Human subject. Even getting amazing results from Google Camera port. Totally happy with the device.. Very happy...

Bought Nokia 8.1 on 1st Jan 2019. This phone is n absolute stunner. Upgraded to this phone from Redmi Note 3. I love jow this phone makes me feel when i am with my friends. Iron color is an amazing color. Camera shots are totally amazing. Loving every bit of this phone. Plus huge battery life. If u have the Budget go for this device.

I think u reviewed oppo R17 pro better ... Which is far behind the Nokia 8.1
8.1 is my 1st Stock Android Phone, after having used skinned phones like LG V30, S7,S8, HTC U11 in the past. I can tell you the software experience is buttery smooth, and unparalleled. Camera is excellent in daylight, very good at low light. For Audio, usb type c headphones from letv bought from Amazon work like charm giving amazing sound quality. Stock headphones are Okish though. On build quality, I disagree with Ranjit, I don't know how he managed to bang phone and get such damage. Durability seems to be solid. Somehow I felt Ranjit didn't give too much detail and effort into this review, whining over price is not a review. Eg. Anyone can whin about 90k iPhone XS, but that's not review.

It's an amazing phone indeed with excellent design, great features and pure stock Android Experience but the competition is simply better in the form of Zenfone 5Z for even lower price, great video Sir!!

Absolutely, I was waiting for Nokia 8.1 for 2months almost and was very disappointed with the Launch Price.Then Past Flipkart Bonanza Sale i was able to grab Zenfone 5z 8gigs, 256GB variant for just 27,499 instead of its Original price of 36,999 and got so much more than what nokia 8.1 could offer for the same 27k Price. I don't regret my decision.

14999 m mil raha h. Ky y sufficient hoga 4gb or sd 710 over 712 and m long term m chalane ki soch raha hu like 2 to 3yrs.
This is a tad overpriced but anyone who remembers Nokia in its golden days would know why Nokia was better. Not because it had a lot of features but it had useful features with an assurance of durability. Android One guarantees updates till Android 10.0 and 3 years worth of security patches. Only a handful of manufacturers have been able to do that. Cameras is the biggest selling point. It has a superior camera as compared to Poco. And lastly stock android.

I bought this phone yesterday. It's an excellent device. Much better than Asus Zenfone 5z. Android Pie and guaranteed updates for 2 yrs, great ziess rear camera (better than Asus), Premium looking device (stands out among crowd with iron color), Great Display, and ONLY 4 GB RAM, 'ONLY' as Ranjit said almost 4 times, it works like a charm. And btw.. Battery lasts for 16-18 hours even with Heavy usage, longer with moderate usage. What more you need?
Girish D this device comes with Android Pie. I heard Android one provides with 2 major os update and 1 year security patch update. why are saying only 2 years?

@@DrSankarRaajaPharmD Based on my experience, yes it is worth every penny, once you will hold the phone in hand, you will understand why the price, it feels more premium than any other Android out there, including OnePlus (plastic back) or Asus (which is not bad, but doesn't have the premium finishing)..And the Iron Color seems to be a first. As of Today 1st 3 days don't have any complaint.

Hi Ranjit ,i own this cell now using it since 10 days some doubts and questions
1)is heating issue normal with metal body phones i understand heat dissipation is good when it comes to metal.but during charging and if i go for heavy use sometimes it warms up.
2)we can remove notch goin in developer mode.
3)Neg Dinorex is as good as Corning Gorilla sir.
4) according to me some things which NOKIA need to fix in upcoming update are
a)Instant Face Unlock like the fingerprint we need to open the screen unlock and then swipe again unlock completely.
b) heating issues.
C) as u said over sharpening for front 📷.

Got this one.... Using it and it's a wonderful phone... And I agree with the cons specially low call volume... That can be disturbing as that's the main purpose of a phone... To make calls!... Rest the display is amazing... He spoke very little about how beautiful this display looks... N I somehow like this glass more than gorilla glass as it's not holding smudges n looks pretty scratch proof.... I was using the pixel 2xl before this, iPhone X before that, note 9 as well.... Coming to this phone as I wanted to try the new Nokia, I must say I m impressed... N people saying poco n Zenfone are for 24-25k, please go n see Samsung a8 star and all these other 14nm Snapdragon 660 chip phones from Samsung... Are all around 30.... I would any day pay premium for a Nokia phone that actually performs all round than pay anywhere close for Chinese phones that just have a processor to boast about..!

Yes downloaded the apk for Google camera... Believe me the pictures look so much more detailed with Google cam... You'll find the link online... Bas woh perfect nahi hi app... Kabhi kabhi theek se nahi chlta.. but when it works, the pictures come out great... Front facing camera pe it doesn't work that well... Rest is good...

It's a complete package. Do not even try comparing it with average China phones. The price is fine considering the build, OIS, stock android and amazing cameras. Also do not forget this is designed in Finland and made in India. So no chance of any Chinese spying.
Also Ranjit again failed to mention that unlike most Xaomi phones, this can stream Netflix and Amazon prime at 1080p as it has DRM L1 certificate. EVEN Poco does not have it.
Last, this is basically the budget Pixel 3. If you cannot afford that simply buy the 8.1. Almost identical experience and Gcam can be installed directly without any rooting. I can confirm the Gcam photos on this phone come out better than even 1plus 6T because of the Zeiss optics.

Geekyranjit sir, Yesterday I went to nokia care regarding charging assembly issues in my nokia 7 plus......they after fixing the problem; downgraded my software from Android Pie to Android 8.1; the reason they told me was that there are some bugs even in the final pie update in all nokia phones that are receiving pie update; and suggested me not to download pie update without confirming with them. Please tell me is that true; should I download the update or not?
