Shading is achieved by cascading many pixels of gradient colours together. So the smaller, the better detail. That is why making the pixels smaller increases pixel density for a given resolution, which is always preferable. Keep making the pixels bigger and you might as well be playing Minecraft (which you like very much I presume, given your nonsensical "bigger is better" logic coming out of that tiny brain of yours) :) P.S. don't try so hard to roast mate, it's making you look like a fool (which is not far from reality I guess)
